What is it and What it Proposes and the Cause Proposes that the

Universe was created by a vast explosion about 13.7 billion years ago

contents compressed under extreme pressure, temperature, and density

Other Facts Laws of physics do not

provide a clear picture of what might have happened

As time goes on, the universe continues to expand and cool due to the Big Bang

This theory relies on the universality of physical laws, and the Cosmological Principle

What it Proposes

Proposes that the universe was formed by a collapsing nebula

A nebula was formed by a gaseous matter and continued to shrink under pressure until fragments broke away and formed the sun

Page 9: Theories Of The Universe

What it Proposes 2

As the nebula continued to collapse under pressure, it got flattened into a pancake like figure with a ball at the center

The more the nebula collapsed, the more gravitational pull was created causing any masses in the area to come together and form the universe
