outcomes for a single roll of a die.
b) Do all the numbers seem to have an equal chance of occurring? Why or why not?

An event is a set of outcomes for a particular experiment.
For example, in Never a Six the outcomes a roll of 4 and a roll of 5 makeup the event scoring more than three points on a single roll.

When you find the probability of an event without doing an experiment, it is called theoretical probability.
•You can find the theoretical probability when the outcomes are equally likely.

If an event cannot happen, it is an impossible event, and it has a probability of 0.
If an event must happen it is a certain event, and has a probability of 1.
