Day 1: The students will read the handout with the teacher and answer the questions in the back for reading comprehension. For more exploration, the students will search for information regarding the different genres of music and their respective information. The homework will be with guided questions.
Day 2: The students, if they did not do the homework, the teacher will come prepared with the data gathered.

Day 4: The teacher will assign vocabulary words and the students will write them down and discuss them
Day 5: The teacher will play the song “Into the Night” and the students will interpret it and analyze it.
Day 6: On this day, the teacher will take the time to discuss the special homework. The teacher will give the students the instructions, the rubric, and the guide questions.
Day 7: For application, the teacher will put different kinds of music and the students will express what do they think of them and how do they feel when they hear it. For
a CD, laptop, pen drive, or any instrument to play it, and play the music in the classroom and talk and express yourself about that kind of music using the guide questions given in the assigned date. It will be like an oral report. Nothing written will be handed.

7. Students will hear different genres of music and express what they think of them (Techno, rock, hip-hop, instrumental, melody)
Homework:Students will pick one song from the ones heard and analyze it in their homes

Day 8: The students will review the songs played last time. Then the teacher will give them a handout with guide questions and the students will answer them for homework. These questions will be to make a reaction.
Day 9: The teacher will bring a handout about reggaeton vs. rock and the students will read it and then answer the comprehension questions on the back.
Day 10: The debate will be based on the questions that the teacher will make the day before. Students will state if they

Day 12: This class will be to create the song. It won’t be hard because it will not have to rhyme and the teacher will give them the pattern to do it.
Day 13: The time may be short since the students will read and when they express themselves maybe they won’t talk much. So, the teacher will stall time by
next class.
