MEET OUR CATERING & HOSPITALITY SERVICES TEAM

Kristen Nock Senior Manager, Catering & Hospitality Services

An industry professional for over 15 years, Kristen joined the Stadium team in January 2003 from The Westin in Sydney’s CBD. As an Events Manager for Sodexho (The Stadium’s external catering company at the time) Kristen was responsible for servicing the Stadium’s Members and Corporates in the area of Food and Beverage.

In September 2004, Kristen broadened her scope at Sodexho by taking on the primary task of managing the marketing and sales of the catering business at the Stadium. Over the years Kristen’s role has evolved but one thing hasn’t changed, the focus on the customer. Kristen’s role manages all interaction between the Stadium and our Corporate clients, Members and Event Partners to ensure not only the very best in end-to-end service but a great Event Day experience for you and your guests.

Laura Harris Senior Coordinator, Catering & Hospitality Services

Laura started her career in hospitality at ANZ Stadium in 2003 where she joined as a casual bar attendant. Two years later Laura commenced full time employment for Sodexho as a Catering Coordinator for The Open Corporate Boxes and Private Suites. With experience ranging from food and beverage operations right through to the sale of functions, Laura’s experience is an invaluable asset for ANZ Stadium.

Laura’s role assists with the management of interaction between the Stadium and its Corporate clients and Event Partners more specifically The Zone Box and Private Suite Holders. To put it simply, Laura will be ready to help you with anything you need as a voice at the other end of the phone.

Michelle Profilio Senior Coordinator, Catering & Hospitality Services

Michelle started her employment at ANZ Stadium joining the casual team as a suite attendant in 2004. In late 2009 Michelle commenced a full time role of Coordinator in the Catering and Hospitality team.

Michelle provides hands on operational experience and knowledge of the Stadiums corporate areas, which is an asset to the team.

Michelle’s role assists with the interaction between the Stadium and its corporate Private Suite and Zone Box clients. Michelle will provide a friendly face and a welcoming voice at the other end of the phone and is ready to help with any enquiries you may have to make your experience at the stadium an enjoyable one.

THE ZONE BOX PRIMARY CONTACT

To provide you with the best and most timely service, please nominate a primary contact who will be your Zone Box Coordinator.

This is the person to whom all correspondence relating to your Zone Box will be sent, including event information (eNews), event tickets, catering options and special offers.

We ask that your Zone Box Coordinator be responsible for coordinating and supervising all matters relating to the usage and day-to-day management of your Zone Box, including the submission of catering orders and the distribution of event tickets and event information to attending guests.

For times where your Zone Box Coordinator is unable to oversee matters e.g. due to leave or other commitments, we request a secondary contact also be nominated.

Should there be a permanent change in contact details during the term of your Zone Box agreement, please inform Catering & Hospitality Services.

USING YOUR ZONE BOX ON AN EVENT DAY

Zone Box Holders and their guests have access to their Zone Box on event days only upon presentation of a valid Zone Box ticket as supplied by ANZ Stadium.

Access may commence from the advertised gate opening time for each event and concludes approximately 45 minutes after the completion of the event, unless otherwise advised.

Timings will be communicated via email to The Zone Box Coordinators prior to each event and is accessible via the Corporate Concierge portal of the ANZ Stadium website.

Zone Box Holders and their guests should be aware that The Zone Box entry tickets provide exclusive access to The Zone Boxes and lounge areas only. The Zone Box entry tickets do not provide access to ANZ Stadium Member facilities, Private Suite facilities, Centreline Seat areas or public seating areas.

VIP CORPORATE ENTRANCE

The Zone Box Holders and their guests enter ANZ Stadium through Gates C/D.

Corporate entry gates are shown on the ‘Stadium Map section’ and on the ANZ Stadium website. Please note, the external Gate lettering system works alphabetically in an anti-clockwise direction.

EVENT TICKETS

ANZ Stadium issues The Zone Box holders with 8 or 12 tickets (according to their Zone Box capacity) for each event.

The Zone Box tickets for all events in your Zone Box package purchased will be delivered to The Zone Box Coordinator at the beginning of the calendar year following receipt of full payment.

Tickets are printed on unique The Zone Box branded stock with an access barcode and details of the event; including the Event Name, Date, Gate entry letter, Gate opening time (where available at the time of printing*) and The Zone Box location details (Box letter/Number).

All Zone Box tickets are printed with individual codes up to the maximum of The Zone Box Capacity (e.g. 01 – 12)

To enhance the presentation of your event tickets for your guests, an allocation of ticket presentation wallets is included in your Zone Box pack for major events only.

For all events, we recommend The Zone Box Coordinators use our Guest Ticket Allocation Form to keep record of who is invited to attend your Zone Box and ticket details issued to each guest. This will assist if cancellation or re-issue of any lost/misplaced tickets is required.

*In some instances, event dates may not be known at the time of printing. In these instances, ANZ Stadium will advise The Zone Box Coordinators by email of the actual event date as soon as it is confirmed. Up-to-date information can also be found through the Corporate Concierge portal.

LOST/DAMAGED OR STOLEN TICKETSAll lost, damaged or stolen Zone Box tickets must be reported to ANZ Stadium immediately to prevent unauthorised access and use of your Zone Box.

Report lost, damaged or stolen tickets by calling Catering & Hospitality Services on (02) 8765 2900. Replacement tickets can only be arranged through ANZ Stadium, please note a fee may apply.

Guest access to ANZ Stadium will only be granted with the issue of a replacement ticket.

PRECINCT PARKING (P1)The Zone Box holders may be provided with precinct parking tickets for the P1 Car Park adjacent to ANZ Stadium on Edwin Flack Avenue.

P1 car parking allocations are determined by the package type purchased and its inclusions.

Additional P1 car parking tickets can be purchased for any event by contacting Ticketek directly via www.ticketek.com.au or on 132 849.

CATERING OPTIONS

ANZ Stadium provides The Zone Box menus designed by our Executive Chef, John Deane tailored to the nature of the specific event.

Event menus will be available for viewing via the Corporate Concierge portal accessible via the ANZ Stadium website four to six weeks prior to each event.

PLACING AN ORDER

The Zone Box coordinators are to submit their order online via the Corporate Concierge portal by the specified deadline for each event (10 days prior to the event). A confirmation email will be generated once your order is received. Orders received after the specified deadline will be charged an additional 15% of the food order total. Please be aware that limited catering options may apply if an order is not placed within the specified time-frame.

Menu enhancement items may only be ordered in addition to a full menu.

ANZ Stadium caters for a diverse range of dietary requirements including vegetarian, kosher, halal and gluten free. When inviting guests to your Zone Box, please ascertain whether they have any special dietary requirements and ensure these details are advised at the time of ordering to ensure they can be accommodated. Some dietary requirements may incur and additional charge e.g. Kosher.

GUESTS MANAGING FOOD ALLERGIES AND INTOLERANCES

ANZ Stadium’s aspiration is to “make the greatest things happen” and with that commitment, food quality and safety is paramount to our business and reputation. It is something we take very seriously.

ANZ Stadium’s Central Production Kitchen is proficient and experienced at fulfilling catering requirements for up to 8,000 guests dur-ing an event with a major focus on the use of fresh ingredients.

With that in mind, many common ingredients that may cause allergic reactions or intolerances with certain people are used within the kitchen environments. Examples include, peanuts and peanut products, tree nuts and derived products, egg and egg products, milk and milk products, fish and crustacean and derived products, nitrates, sesame seeds, soybeans and their products just to highlight a few, are used within our recipes. Sulphides may also be used in the manufacture of some alcoholic beverages.

Communication, information and hygiene are the key factors in which ANZ Stadium manages allergies and intolerances.

Should you be managing an allergy or intolerance to the above ingredients or any other product, please liaise with your Zone Box Attendant to obtain further information about our food products as well as the conditions they have been prepared. Additionally, further arrangements can be made on request to meet your dietary needs dependant on ingredient availability.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE

Food and Beverage service is provided to The Zone Boxes by a Zone Box Service Attendant when food and beverages are ordered.

Guests will be served premium beverages including beer, wine and soft drink from the fridge situated within The Zone Box. Beverage replenishment fulfilled by the Box Attendant (based on the package type purchased).

ANZ Stadium is committed to the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). Beverage service including alcohol is only available when a full meal service is ordered and a Box Attendant present.

YOUR ZONE BOX EVENT DAY HOST

When your Zone Box is in use, you must have an appointed Host present as the approved company representative.

The host is the primary point of contact for ANZ Stadium staff on event day. The Zone Box Host should be familiar with the information contained in these guidelines.

It is important that the nominated Host introduces themselves to the Zone Box Attendant. All guests should be made aware that The Zone Box Attendant will only take direction from the Host.

BOOKING PROCEDURES FOR EVENT DAYS

Should catering not be required at an event, we still require advice if you are “Not Attending” or “No Catering is Required (Zone Box in use)”. Please ensure this information is completed via the online Corporate Concierge portal accessible via the ANZ Stadium website.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Where menu order cancellations or pax changes are made less than three full working days prior to an event, full payment will be required.

All cancellations are required in writing in order to take effect, via [email protected].

If your guests do not arrive on the event day, the total amount for catering will be charged.

Weather conditions and the time required to complete an event are beyond the control of ANZ Stadium. Once gates are open on the day of an event, all orders will be deemed valid for that day regardless of whether the event actually takes place.

HINTS FOR ENTERTAINING YOUR GUESTSStart the year on the right foot.

To ensure you are well informed and prepared for ANZ Stadium events and special offers, make sure your details are up-to date by submitting the Zone Box Coordinator Form.

Make sure your email security is set-up to receive eNews from [email protected] for each event. These can sometimes go straight to your junk mail.

Customise your Zone Box

As a Zone Box holder, you have the opportunity to leverage your company’s brand with signage. This is the perfect way to emerse your clients and guests in your brand.

To arrange signage for your Zone Box complete the Signage order form.

Event Day Preparation

Issue guests a Letter of Invitation at least 14 days prior to the event. See Example Invitation Template.

Upon confirmation of their attendance, send a ‘Guest Pack’ via courier or Express Post at least seven days prior to the event. For ticket security, we recommend avoiding mailing methods which cannot be tracked e.g. regular post. Record guest names and their allocated ticket number for each event. See Guest Ticket Allocation Form.

Include tickets (in ticket wallets provided for major events), parking tickets (if required), photocopies of maps and details of where you will meet them.

Visit the ‘Stadium Map section’ of the ANZ Stadium website for more information.

Encourage guests to visit the ‘Getting Here section’ of the ANZ Stadium website to help plan their trip to and from the venue.

Submit your food and beverage order online by the specified closing date for each event (approx. 10 days prior to the event).

Provide the name and mobile number of your Company’s Host for each event to Catering & Hospitality Services via email [email protected]

Ensure all attending guests are aware of the guidelines and policies pertaining to the use of your Zone Box, in particular Dress Code and Responsible Service of Alcohol.

EVENT COMMUNICATIONS

Approximately four to six weeks prior to each event, Catering & Hospitality Services will send an event specific email (eNews) to all Zone Box Coordinators including event information, timings, catering options, ticketing information, and any other important announcements.

With email the primary form of information broadcast, it is important that recipient email address records are accurate and up-to-date.

You can also access up-to-date information via the Corporate Concierge portal on the ANZ Stadium website.

In the event of any change to your Zone Box Coordinator’s email address, please contact Catering & Hospitality Services via email [email protected] or on (02) 8765 2900

The ANZ Stadium website further provides breaking news and event information on www.anzstadium.com.au.

GETTING TO ANZ STADIUMA range of public transport services (including Bus, Train, Ferry, Taxi) operate to and from ANZ Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park. Additional special event services also operate on major events days.

Encourage guests to visit the ‘Getting Here section’ of the ANZ Stadium website to help plan their trip to and from the venue.

For selected major events, integrated ticketing may also operate whereby major event public transport is included in your Zone Box event ticket. Events which include travel on public transport can be found on your Zone Box ticket and will be advised by your eNews to The Zone Box Coordinators. Guests driving to ANZ Stadium are encouraged to visit the Sydney Olympic Park Authority website www.sydneyolympicpark.com.au for the latest precinct information and any road closures in place for each event.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

Event Day medical services at ANZ Stadium are provided by qualified paramedics.

Should medical assistance be required at any time during your visit to ANZ Stadium, please alert ANZ Stadium staff immediately.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

ANZ Stadium has an Emergency Management Plan in place to manage the Stadium in the case of an emergency.

In the event of an emergency, The Zone Box Hosts and their guests must follow the directions of ANZ Stadium staff.

ACCESSIBILITY

ANZ Stadium is designed to provide universal access across all areas of the Stadium for the benefit of all attending guests. For the comfort and convenience of your guests, if known prior to an event, please advise ANZ Stadium of any guests who may require additional assistance during their visit.

AMENITIES

Male and Female toilet facilities are conveniently located throughout Corporate levels. Accessibility is a key feature throughout all Corporate amenities, providing enhancements for users and guests with a disability.

SIGNAGE/ADVERTISING

The Zone Box Holders have the opportunity to display corporate identification on the outside of their Zone Box for each event included in their package.

ANZ Stadium reserves the right to approve all proposed corporate signage.

EVENT MERCHANDISE For selected major events, ANZ Stadium provide The Zone Box holders with an allocation of complimentary event programs and merchandise items.

Programs and merchandise where included, will be delivered to your Zone Box prior to the gate opening time on event day.

Additional programs can be ordered by emailing your request to [email protected] no later than 10 working days prior to the event. All orders subject to product availability.

Event programs and merchandise can also be purchased at any event from the Rebel Sport Merchandise outlets located throughout the venue.

ACCESS TO ADDITIONAL ANZ STADIUM SERVICES

A variety of Corporate Hospitality packages are available at ANZ Stadium for all events, in addition to your Zone Box, including;

Meetings and Special Events

ANZ Stadium boasts 15 indoor and outdoor function spaces with plenty of natural light and spectacular views to the Stadium arena.

Spaces can accommodate 20 – 1,500 guests and offer state-of-the-art facilities ideal for conferences, functions, exhibitions, product launches and more.

Zone Box Holders can enjoy an exclusive offer of free room hire for any function booked at the Stadium. For further details on available spaces at ANZ Stadium visit the ‘Conferences & Events section’ of the ANZ Stadium website.

Stadium Tours

The ANZ Stadium Tours Program offers Zone Box Holders and their guests a unique opportunity to view many of the facilities across all levels of the Stadium including a birds-eye view from the Gantry in a private guided tour.

Zone Box Holders receive an exclusive 25% discount off regular Stadium Tour prices. Tours can be arranged by contacting Catering & Hospitality Services on (02) 8765 2900.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

The Zone Box holders and their guests should be aware of the ANZ Stadium Conditions of Entry which are displayed in full on the ANZ Stadium website.

In particular, the following items are prohibited and will not be permitted into the Stadium:

• Whistles

• Glass bottles

• Cans

• Alcohol

• Any other device capable of causing injury, harm or nuisance

Please note, conditions of entry may change for some events, these conditions can be found on the event pages of the ANZ Stadium website.

CODE OF CONDUCT

To ensure all guests’ enjoy their Stadium event experience, it is expected that The Zone Box Holders and their guests shall, at all times, conduct themselves in a manner which is consistent with the character of the Stadium as a world class sporting and entertain-ment venue.

To minimise disruption to other Stadium guests, please note that mobile phone usage is discouraged during events.

ANZ Stadium reserves the right to remove guests from the venue who refuse to comply with ANZ Stadium Conditions of Entry and The Zone Box Policies and Procedures.

DRESS STANDARDS ANZ Stadium expects all attendees to comply with the dress code. Those not meeting the minimum requirements will not be granted access into Corporate areas.

Discretion will be used in the case of young children. Jerseys of the participating teams are allowed.

Men

• Do wear smart casual attire, with trousers or dress shorts with appropriate footwear.

• Don’t wear rubber or foam thongs, singlets, ripped jeans (including designer), tracksuits or ‘stubbie’ style shorts.

Women

• Do wear smart casual attire.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL POLICY

ANZ Stadium is committed to the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all and as part of the Stadium’s standard operations, the responsible service of alcohol is a focus within the Stadium for all events, including in all corporate areas.

The following is a summary of the important issues concerning the consumption of alcohol within The Zone Boxes:

• The Zone Box Holders and their guests are required to comply with ANZ Stadium’s Responsible Service of Alcohol House Policy displayed within the Corporate Lounge and on the ANZ Stadium website.

• All alcoholic beverages are provided by ANZ Stadium Food and Beverage Staff. All beverages must be consumed within the The Zone Box.

• Beverage service including alcohol is only available when a full food and beverage package is purchased and The Zone Box Attendant present.

• The ANZ Stadium Liquor Licence prohibits guests from bringing alcohol into or taking alcohol from ANZ Stadium.

• The Zone Box Holders or their guests must not supply alcoholic beverages to any person under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or to any person under the age of 18 years.

• For the safety of guests and ANZ Stadium staff, glassware is not permitted outside the boundary of The Zone Boxes. If guests wish to take their drink outside the Box area, a plastic cup will be provided by The Zone Box Attendant.

• We seek your assistance in ensuring that your guests enjoy themselves but at the same time consume alcohol in a responsible manner. The Zone Box Holders are responsible for the behaviour of their guests at all events and to ensure that all alcohol rules and policies are observed.

• ANZ Stadium is committed to providing the highest level of service to you and your guests. However, recent changes to the Law do not permit intoxicated persons to remain on-site. Intoxicated persons will be asked to leave the Stadium.

• ANZ Stadium staff will be on hand at all events to answer any questions you have with regard to the responsible service of alcohol. Please share this information with attending guests throughout the year.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is not permitted within The Zone Boxes or throughout Corporate Levels.

Designated smoking areas are provided on each circular ramp of the Stadium. These areas are convenient to all Zone Boxes and are clearly identified.

ANZ Stadium staff will direct any guests found smoking within The Zone Box areas to designated smoking areas.

GUESTS WITH CHILDREN

Subject to the wishes of each Zone Box Holder, children are permitted entry to The Zone Boxes, provided they are accompanied and fully supervised by an adult at all times. Children aged 3 years and over require a valid Zone Box event ticket to gain entry.

As with all Zone Box guidelines, guests are urged to be mindful of the Corporate environment they are entering and to respect the privacy and comfort of other Corporate guests in their vicinity.

Prams and strollers are permitted into the venue but for safety reasons, are not permitted into seating areas. If a guest wishes to bring either of these items to an event arrangements can be made with ANZ Stadium staff upon entry to the Stadium.
