When you make your appointment for a conference, you will complete a form that lets the writing instructor know what parts of the essay you want to discuss.

During the session, the writing instructor may ask you questions to help you think more critically about your response. However, you will ultimately be responsible for revising your draft.

After you and the instructor review the strategies to improve your essay, you will record your revision plan on the conference form.

The writing instructor will send the completed conference form to your classroom instructor so that s/he has a record of your visit and of the revisions you will make to your writing assignment.
