Upward Registration ends November 6th for basketball and cheerleading. Practice begins Tuesday, November 20th. Blood Drive - Today from 12:30-4:30 pm in the Family Life Center. Wedding Shower - You are invited to a wedding shower for Diana Calhoun and Jody Jones, son of Bob and Judy Jones, today from 2:00 - 3:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The couple is registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Belk and Target. The couple will be getting married in December. Church Council Meeting - Today at 5:00 pm in the Conference Room. Advent Devotional - We would like to publish an advent devotional this year and we need your help. If you are willing to write a devotional or two that would stir us toward remembering the true meaning of Christmas, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can pick a scripture and write a prayer for the devotional, that would be great. If not, we will prayerfully do that for you. Kids, you can help as well! Veterans Day Tribute - You are invited to come as we pay tribute to our veterans on Sunday, November 11th at the Blue Star Memorial downtown Knightdale. It will begin at 12:30 pm and is sponsored by TwoGreen Thumbs Garden Club. Deacon’s Meeting - Sunday, November 11th at 5:00 pm in the Conference room. TwoGreen Thumbs Garden Club Meeting - Monday, November 12th at 6:30 pm. Angelic Minister’s Meeting - Tuesday, November 13th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. The “Backpack Buddies” program is an ongoing ministry KBC has with Knightdale Elementary School. Plastic bags, used to distribute the food, are not needed at this time, but food items are needed. Conference Room once you have them packed and ready to ship. Please see Robin Farrington if you have any questions. Shoebox Wrapping Party - A church-wide wrapping party is scheduled for Wednesday, November 14th from 6:30-7:45 pm in the FLC.

Weathers/Knight Circle - Thursday, November 15th at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Youth Lock-in - The youth had a blast at the lock-in. The band was great and the speaker was a treat. There were a ton of games and an action-packed movie to top it all off. It was a great success! Though, it has taken awhile for some to recover from the night’s activities and lack of sleep. Thanks to the Martins, the Farringtons, James and Mark for their ministry to the youth. Relationships were strengthened and new bonds formed during this time. Christmas Caroling - Singing Christmas carols always seems to lift people’s spirits. The youth would like to begin planning for this as an outreach to those around us. Our vision is to make contacts with people that we can follow up on in the future. If you are interested in participating in this contact Pastor Joe. Also, look for information in the bulletin about practice for this outreach.

Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal November 14th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm

(Cheese Pizza always available)

The cost is: adults (10-up) $5.00, children (4-9) $2.00 and children 3 and under free.

Maximum family cost is $20.00. Reservations/cancellations must be made by noon

on Monday, November 14th. Call the church office to make reservations or complete

the Wednesday Night section on the “Welcome Guest” slip and drop it in the offer-

ing plate. Make sure to write your name on the slip.
