spares are included but those components which are accessible
to the end user are kept out of scope in order to optimize the

Availability , Response Time , Resolution time , KONE Presence
etc. are complied with in this package. This solution is ideal for
Elevators & Escalators which have a heavy usage pattern and
there is normally a Facility Management team available at site to

What to do if an elevator stops
operating
• In some cases, performing a few simple
checks can help you get equipment back
into operation quickly.
• If a problem is reported, confirm the
situation and then call the KONE
Customer Care Center.
• Make sure that there are no obstructions
at the doors.
• Check that all the buttons in the elevator
car are functioning properly.
• Have a qualified person check if there is a
tripped breaker on the main power
supply.

Safety tips forelevator and escalatorpassengers
In case of a fire or other emergency, use stairs instead of elevators.
Parents should accompany children at all times and discourage
them from playing in or around the elevators.
Passengers should keep away from the elevator doors during the
ride. Those travelling with children should hold their hands, and
pets should be kept close on a leash.
If you notice something unusual in the elevator, such as sounds,
smells or malfunctions in the lighting system, call your local KONE
Customer Care Center to schedule an inspection.
In the event a passenger gets trapped in an elevator, remember
that elevator cars have sufficient ventilation and plenty of oxygen.
Call the KONE Customer Care Center for immediate assistance.
An escalator is not a playground. Discourage incorrect use by
passengers, such as riding up on the down escalator or vice versa.
Children should be accompanied by adults and should never be
transported on escalators in strollers. Guide passengers with
strollers to the nearest elevator.
As a safety precaution, passengers using canes, crutches, walkers
or wheelchairs should be guided to use an elevator instead of the
escalator.
Passengers attempting to transport heavy or bulky items on the
escalator should be directed instead to a service elevator.
