The three sectors• There are three sectors in our

economy.• All jobs belong to one of three

sectors.• People have jobs to pay for the

things they need.

Primary sectorPrimary sector

• Provides raw materials of other industries.• Extracts naturals resources : Fish,minerals.• Produces natural products: Crops,livestock.

Secondary sectorSecondary sector• Processes raw materials to make

products.• Produces products in factories for

other industries: steel, plastics, machines.

• Make consumer products: cars, mobile phones.

• Contruction.

Service / Tertiary sectorService / Tertiary sector• Provides services. • Includes lots of diferent services: • Shops-tourism-transport-health-education-

entertainment.
