Although it was cold there were plenty of pups to look at, some very new and it was ‘a bit bloody’. Pauline Wozencroſt (Wozie) from St Lawrence organised a sponsored bike ride in aid of The Buerfly Hos- pice, Boston and Lincs. branch of MacMillan Cancer Support. With colleagues and friends Kay, Kim and Claire, all of whom have unfortunately had need of these deserving charies; they cycled 18 miles along the Spa Trail raising a total of £360. Fantasc! Cake Sales, non uniform and games galore helped raise money for the cause and the bike-a-thon at Louth helped raise awareness of LWF; you may have heard us on BBC Ra- dio Lincolnshire on Friday morning or seen us in the pa- pers this week. Rick’s business partner, a parent at the school who organised the donaon, also put a “mega-fan” in touch with the school to organise the purchase of the CD Chris from Stockholm in Sweden, bought the ultra-rare CD called Rock Star Donation Raises £250 In total LWF will be giving Children In Need £225.33.
