TICKET REQUEST FORM

We warmly invite you to celebrate the world premiere of Christopher Wheeldon’s The Winter’s Tale, a powerful new interpretation of Shakespeare’s late, great romance.

From the austere royal court of Sicily to the light-fi lled fantasy of Bohemia, The Winter’s Tale follows the destruction of a marriage through consuming jealousy, the abandonment of a child, and a seemingly hopeless love.

Continuing the highly successful collaboration of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Christopher Wheeldon reunites with designer Bob Crowley and composer Joby Talbot, to bring you an evening of tragedy and comedy, remorse and reconciliation, performed by the dancers ofThe Royal Ballet.

To mark this special occasion, and to celebrate the fi rst night of this new production, we invite you to join the cast, members of the artistic team and Royal Opera House directors, at a unique post-performance dinner in the Paul Hamlyn Hall.

All proceeds from the evening’s performance and dinner will benefi tthe Royal Opera House Foundation, the registered charity that supports every aspect of the Royal Opera House’s work – its achievements onstage, the commissioning of new work, development for talented emerging artists and craftspeople, and extensive learning and engagement activity.

We are grateful to the following for their support of the production:The Monument Trust, Mrs Susan A Olde OBE, the Metherell Family,Lady Ashcroft, Celia Blakey, Richard and Delia Baker, Kenneth and Susan Green, David Hancock, Randa Khoury, Lindsay and Sarah Tomlinson,Sir Roger and Lady Carr and The Winter’s Tale Production Syndicate.
