Ode to Trees

“I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree.” (Excepted from the work of Joyce Kilmer). Unfortunately, we aren’t inundated with poems, instead we have to deal with bushels of leaves. We are doing our best to keep our common areas clear. If you have a build-up of leaves and pine needles on your balcony or patio, we have ordered a supply of leaf bags, which we will make available to those in need. Just contact the office and we will drop one off for you.

Turkey & Cheese Crescent Rolls - Easy Meal Idea

Pair these turkey and cheese crescent rolls with a hot bowl of cozy chicken noodle soup for a quick and delicious meal on even the busiest of days! INGREDIENTS 1 package (8 oz) Annie’s Organic Crescent Rolls 4 slices provolone cheese (deli slices) 8 slices deli turkey meat INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350°F. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, unroll crescent rolls. On top of each triangle, add 1/2 slice provolone cheese and one slice turkey. Roll up and place on pan. Bake for 11-14 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. NOTES Best served with Annie’s Organic Chicken Noodle Soup.

Often the Key to Moisture Problems is Ventilation

The most common symptoms of excessive humidity are condensation or “fog” forming on the window glass. The underlying reason for this humidity build-up is the reduced amount of outdoor air circulation through the structure.

Please open windows and doors of bathrooms after showering

Allow of cross-ventilation by opening the kitchen window and patio slider

Improve ventilation and airflow: turn on the fan in your bathroom as you bathe and leave it on for another 30 minutes after you get out of the shower.

If mildew build-up is a problem, let us help, please request a maintenance visit. Please Break all of your boxes down It’s a lot easier for both you and your waste management supplier to recycle cardboard moving boxes when they’re broken down. To make sure they’re suitable for re-use, ensure each box is completely empty and break each box down so it’s completely flat. If any part of the box got damaged by a leaked substance (including water), cut that part of the cardboard away—saturated cardboard is extremely difficult for companies to recycle, even after it’s dry.

collected. Remove all ornamentation and tinsel. Place them next to your green compost can. Flocked trees are not accepted.

Welch Road Apartments is seeking a Volunteer

We are creating a Mailing List (Mailman) account for our resident community and we need a resident to serve as moderator. What does a mailing list moderator do? The goal for online discussion groups is usually the same –to nurture up a group of people to share their knowledge, wisdom, and experience with like-minded people for the common good. Almost all moderators control the membership by reviewing new subscribers, and on occasion, removing subscribers that are unable to conduct themselves in a cooperative spirit. So how about it?
