Why do you think God chose to use someone like Jeremiah, who had so many flaws to carry His message to the people of Judah?

Read Jeremiah 1:4-6. Have you ever felt that God was calling you to do something but you doubted yourself? What was the result?

Read Jeremiah 20:14-18. Have you ever felt this down in the dumps? What promises of God or favorite scripture passages do you turn to during these tough times?

Read Jeremiah 15:16-17. What do you see in these passages that show the prophet’s heart for God? Do you believe your heart is in tune with God’s heart? Why or why not?

Read Jeremiah 20:7-9. Have you ever had a message from God you felt was like a “Fire in my bones?” Who in your life do you need to share the message of Christ with?
