Annual Congregational Meeting
Sunday, November 11 @ 11:40 a.m. Regular Annual Meeting of the Congregation. Join us to elect our spiritual leaders
and approve our Ministry Plan for 2019.
Thank you all for your prayers... From one of our Mission Builders
We are 15 miles from Mexico Beach- 85% of all structures destroyed including the church we attend.
Port St Joe where we shop county seat 50% destroyed mainly storm surge, Cape San Blas where we live became 3 islands, 35% of all homes destroyed..
Today we have electricity and thats it. We can go to places to get a phone signal. National Guard is bringing in a shower unit and a tanker of fresh water soon Army or The red Cross provide a meal each day.
We feel so bad for those around us. A quarter mile from us some of our best friends lost their beach front home.
Our home suffered 15 pieces of siding gone or damaged by stuff flying through the air. Wind gusts hit a high of 175 miles on the Cape per hour before the instrument broke off. A friend started a house 2 days before Michael hit and had just brought a material handler to the Cape. He has had his hands full in Tallahassee. I have used it to do relief work the last 5 days. Moving large trees picking up boats and a car, moving storm derbis.
Becky has been helping people we know muck out Bay front homes and pick up debris. Our Lord was merciful here, one death in our county a gentleman in a low lying area stayed in his trailer and was swept away. We may be slow to respond because of no internet service.
Peace be with you and yours, Bill and Becky Graves

Memorial Garden - Book of Remembrance As our Memorial Garden has taken shape and come into use, the plan has been to mark the names of our loved ones whose remains rest in the garden with both a Memorial Book in the Gathering Area near the doors leading to the garden. While work is still ongoing for the stone, we invite you to stop in the sanctuary overflow space by the windows overlooking the garden to find the new Memorial Book - and to give thanks for the lives and witness of these brothers and sisters in faith!

Disciple women to be lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. http://mercyhouseglobal.org/
Grain of Rice Project is a non-profit ministry, which seeks to empower Kenyan people with the love of Christ by helping them
become self-sufficient through employment, education, and skills training, focusing on the Kibera slum, where there is no running water and many of the 235,000 residents survive on less than $1 a day. Although we cannot change all of Kibera, we strive to do small things to empower people that will add up to make a big difference in their lives and will in turn spill over and make a difference in the lives of others around them. Join us in tipping the scale.
