Each Lunar model has been certified by the NATIONAL CARAVAN COUNCIL forcompliance with stringent European Standards, British Standards AND the industry set Codesof Practice that specifically relate to health and safety issues.

The approvals process covers the testing and inspection of all critical areas of the product fromfire safety, weights and dimensions through to gas, electrics and ventilation. In order to ensureLunar’s continuing compliance with their stringent standards, the NCC also carry outunannounced spot inspections at the company’s Preston factory.

Every caravan carries the ‘NCC Approved Caravan’ badge that gives you the peace of mind inthe knowledge that your caravan is both fully legal AND safe.

Indulgent, Sumptuous Lightweight TouringThe Clubman / Delta 2011 collection is the ultimate in lightweight luxury touring and the envy of the touring field. This range embodieseverything we have learnt in over 40 years of building the finest caravans. With plush new ‘Stanton’ fabrics and specification beyondcompare, the Clubman / Delta range delivers everything you would expect as a Lunar owner, and so much more. The collection includes5 single axle Clubman models and 2 twin axle Delta models that range from 2 to 4 berth.

The Clubman / Delta range has incredible spacious layouts all with industry leading headroom of 1960mm (6’5’’) and desirable endwashrooms. Featuring a beautifully warm ‘Chestnut’ finish and elegantly curved cabinetry, we have created a welcoming, light filled spacewith new LED mood lighting and a large front heki. Highlights also include a new digital microwave, additional speakers in the bedroomand a touch control extractor fan / roof light.

New for 2011, the Clubman SB is perfect if you prefer the comfort of your own fixed bed thanks to the two large single beds. We are alsoproud to introduce a fabulous new layout for our Clubman SI. This model’s transverse fixed bed, with cut-away base, provides a verylarge living space with the luxury of a walk around double bed.

passion for crafting a caravan that is nothing less than pure class. Lunar was established in 1969 byco-founders Brian Talbot and Ken Wilcock, both of whom worked as joiners for KnowsleyCaravans, before setting up Lunar.

In 1969, inspired by the moon landing mission, Brian Talbot and Ken Wilcock chose ‘Lunar’ as thename of their caravan manufacturing business. Initially based at Earnshaw Bridge, Farington, nearPreston, Lunar then moved to a former mill site in Lostock Hall.

In 1974 the Lunar Clubman was born. This new up-market Lunar was showcased at the EarlsCourt Caravan Show and stunned many caravanners with its craftsmanship and beauty. Toaccompany the Clubman range, the luxurious, yet lightweight Delta was launched in 1980.

The 1990’s saw the birth of two more legendry models, the little Ariva and the Lexon.

At the beginning of the millennium, the Lunar was purchased from Ken and Brian by the TirusGroup who already owned a number of caravan manufacturing plants in Europe. In 2001, Lunarlaunched another innovative model, the two berth Stellar with its superb end kitchen. The firstrange of Quasars was launched in 2004, setting new standards in lightweight family tourers.

In 2007, a management buyout of Lunar was finalised and secured the company’s return to Britishownership. Since being freed from its European shackles, Lunar has invested in new facilities,sophisticated new design software and a wide range of new manufacturing equipment.

Throughout the Lunar story one ethos remains constant; the passion and pride for buildingcaravans that are undoubtedly the best in lightweight luxury touring.

Soft Furnishing Combination OptionsLunar have carefully selected the standard soft furnishings to look greatin each model range.

However for a small charge (and subject to availability) you maychoose any soft furnishing combination from the 2011 range for yourcaravan. In addition to this there is a luxurious leather option availableon selected models.

Special L Shaped Layout OptionA popular choice amongst caravanners who like to relax in realcomfort, Lunar’s L shaped layout option offers a spacious seating areaat the front of the caravan that can be converted into a large frontdouble bed. In addition, this layout provides a long offside picturewindow and a neat floor cabinet – ideal for parking the TV on whenyou want to put your feet up!

The L shaped layout option is available as a special order (at anadditional charge) on selected models.
