Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts,
it even breaks your heart. But that’s OK. The journey changes you; it should
change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your
heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave
something good behind.

to get there and stills save money. Someone who can plan the whole trip, establish
contacts and deal with the unexpected. We recognize the privilege that is to travel
the world, experience all cultures and places in such a way that we want to share it with
others, leading travellers to leave a positive mark wherever they go.

ATITUDE SOCIAL AND ESCOLA BOLAFavela Santa Marta, in the centre of Rio de Janeiro, became world famous for having been the place where the videoclip of the Michael Jackson’s song “They Do not Care About Us” was shooted. Despite this emphasis, of being the first community to be pacified with the implementation of PPU (Pacifying Police Unit) and having amazing views over the entire city that attracts tourists from around the world, the community still needs a deeper encouraging social inclusion. In order to combat drug trafficking and also bet on the talents of children and young residents, The Wanderlust supports, through the trip to Brazil, two organizations that daily work in this regard.
One of them Atitude Social, was created in 2004 by the musician Robespierre Azevedo, aims to support children, youth and adults in vulnerability and risk of exclusion. Through music lessons (guitar, ukulele, bass, piano, keyboard, saxophone, flute, trombone, percussion, etc.), try to present the diversity in Brazilian culture, offering a greater vision of music and encouraging the study of this area as a possibility of professionalization. The Cine Atitude is another project that happens outdoors with free exhibitions of national and international films for all age groups, aiming the dissemination of audiovisual culture, the formation of new audiences and promoting entertainment. It also works in the Casa de Cultura the Nucleo Audiovisual Atitude designed for the production of films and documentaries. It also has a reading area where are developed art and communication classes with recycled materials, reading, english and french, educational recreation for children and adults. There is still room for street dance lessons with Atitude, carnival parades, etc.
The other organization is Escola Bola, developed by coach Zé Luiz, also a resident of the community. Every day are guaranteed football classes for children and young people between 5 and 18 years. Research indicates that the practice of sports activities regularly may break drug addiction, combat obesity and develop intelligence and self-esteem.
THE WANDERLUST AND ATITUDE SOCIAL AND ESCOLA BOLAOn our trip to Brazil travellers will have the fantastic opportunity to volunteer in Atitude Social organization for an afternoon – and the possibilities are endless! They can give a workshop of an instrument, organize a dance class or english, whatever. Expect us many enthusiastic smiles! In addition, we will also contribute financially to the continuation of this project, buying new materials or fixing those who already have a few years and want to continue making music. At the same time, for those who like football (or who want to learn some football passes with small Neymar), an afternoon at Rio will be set aside to accompany all students of Escola Bola. Participants of this trip will also contribute to the necessary project materials, participation in championships, etc.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?Come with us to Brazil and you will be already helping! If you want to take your help further, know more about these projects in Atitude social and Escola Bola and volunteer or make a donation.

NATURALIACape Verde has been over the past few years one of the 10 most sustainable countries. The reasons for this nomination are due to the environmental protection factor, particularly environmental health, preservation of resources and sustainable practices.A pilot project for the restoration of natural ecosystems and their use in ecotourism activities in Boavista Island, Cape Verde, was the starting point for the creation of NATURALIA.NATURALIA, while ecotourism agency, was born in January 2008, developing its work on:Promote ecotourism activities on the island of Boavista, based on the rational and sustainable use of natural resources of the island.Make local people aware about the economic value of the natural resources and the importance of a long-term conservation, facilitating their involvement and participation in the project activities and benefits.Articulate tourism and environment to support conservation and protection activities of threatened species and habitats.Contribute to scientific knowledge of habitats and native species through data collection.Their offer, in terms of activities consist in the observation of several species including whales, birds, corals and turtles. Thus, support the preservation of such animals once that part of their profit is for the conservation of protected marine species, through projects such as BIOS.CV, a local NGO, in order to implement the National Plan for the
protection of species protected in Cape Verde. Another application of their profit is awareness of the local population, beach cleaning and fundraisers.
THE WANDERLUST AND NATURALIAThe Wanderlust supports NATURALIA.During our trip to Cape Verde, more specifically to the island of Boavista, we will make one of its activities: turtle watching!Cape Verde has the 3rd largest population of loggerhead sea turtle, right after Oman and the United States. However, although they are protected by national and international laws, the sea turtles in the archipelago are still seen as a delicacy, what makes it an endangered species. The turtle watching can contribute to the conservation of this ancestral species, showing the locals that a living turtle yields more than a dead one! Besides that, it generate jobs and the money raised reverts to conservation programs for the implementation of the National Marine Turtles Plan.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?First, go with us to Cape Verde and you will be already helping! If you want to take your help further, know more about this project, volunteer or make a donation.

PROJECT CLEAN ULUWATUProject Clean Uluwatu (P.C.U.) it’s a non-profit organization based in Uluwatu Beach on the Bukit Peninsula, Bali.
With no political or environmental practices applied, without government funding and no local infrastructure, Uluwatu began developing major environmental risks with the massive influx of surfers from around the world and disorderly construction. Few restaurants had their own septic tanks. The toilets were limited, often out of order and had no water supply. Oil and organic waste from food production were thrown directly into the ocean. When surfers complained about the trash in the ocean, this was just stored in the ravine near the entrance of the cave that leads to the beach. Given this situation, in 2011, the locals Jon and Ollie expressed their environmental concerns to the local government and village hoping to regulate the situation. Since they did not receive the expected cooperation, they started the PCU project.
Managed by a committee of local business owners, residents and volunteers, it aims to transform the terrestrial and marine environment surrounding the Uluwatu, a World Surfing Reserve in order to benefit the present and the future of the local community. In this sense, they aim to:
- Become a sustainable, non-profit project, supported by the surf industry for the benefit of surfers;- Be run by local population for the benefit of the community and Uluwatu visitors.- Create a successful case study that can be replicated in other environmentally problematic surfing areas in Indonesia.- To do this, they have been developing their work essentially on three pillars namely solid waste management, liquid waste management and education.
A THE WANDERLUST E O P.C.UThe Wanderlust supports P.C.U..On our trip to Indonesia, our travellers have a volunteer morning dedicated to this project. The actions are decided by the P.C.U. committee and can undergo by cleaning the beaches, gardening in their ecological garden, among others.

ASSOCIATION AZAMA EXTREME (A.A.E.)Association Azama Extreme (A.A.E.) was founded in September of 2011 by a group of friends and surfers in the city of Azemmour, Morocco.Aiming to raise awareness and develop extreme sports in their town, the activities of the association have been developed on four pillars: training through free classes and education, organization and promotion of competitions, social support for families in need and cultural involvement with their city.Since its founding the association has stood out from others. The fact that it attracts youth and younger children and encourages them to practice several sports, including surfing and skateboarding, while encouraging a healthy and fun lifestyle, instilling civic and social values, has since contributed to the training of athletes who aspire to become champions in their respective sports. However, they have been struggling with lack of sponsorship or funding and the practice and value of these sports is not known by those who run the province and municipality to which they belong, which contributes to low economic support, limiting the social promotion to encourage more activity. After hearing of this association, we have come to believe in their project, we believe A.A.E. is able to create a positive impact not only in the lives of young people, but by large their local community as well.Participating in our trip to Morocco (hiperligação para a viagem) travellers will be contributing to the continuity of this project.
THE WANDERLUST AND A.A.E.The Wanderlust continues to support the A.A.E. to ensure the continuity of the project. So far, with the support of the designer Linda Redondo, we have created an identity for the association.
Whenever The Wanderlust travels to Morocco, part of the money gained goes to the association. In this way, we are contributing to the continuity of A.A.E. work developing their social and cultural action with the Azemmour community.Awareness campaigns to collect material, either surfing or educational, to the association, will be a constant.
AWARENESS SURF CAMPAIGNIn a first stage, we intended to break the economic limitations that A.A.E. struggles since its foundation, contributing for them to promote, develop and evolve surfing among young people of Azemmour and respective community. In this way we promoted a nationwide awareness campaign “Moroccan Surf Dream” to collect surf/bodyboard equipment given by individual surfers and / or surf schools, with the support of several local surf shops, including Waimea Surf and Culture, Surf’in Monkeys, TR Surf Repairs & TR Surf Shop, Tribo do Sol, 58 Surf e Ericeira Surf & Skate – Ericeira e Faro. The campaign ended on 31st of January, 2014, and were collected: 2 boxes of wetsuits, 6 surfboards, 1 lycra, 1 pair of flippers, 1 pair of bodyboard boots, 1 bag for surf board and 1 leash. On 15th of March, 2014, members of The Wanderlust team departed towards Morocco to deliver the material personally. The hospitality and gratitude, could not have been more fantastic! We spent great moments with surfers and families of Azemmour. Believe us, it was hard to leave back to Portugal! We want to send a huge thank you to all who joined us, supported and contributed to this campaign. We promise to return soon!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?You can also contribute. How? Travel with us to Morocco. Keep an eye on our campaigns, contribute and disclose. Volunteer or make a donation. Contact us to know more.

T.O.S.A. – THE OTHER SIDE OF ARCHITECTUREO T.O.S.A. it’s a crowdfunding project which came as part of a master’s thesis in architecture. The graduate student, Maria Piedade, thought it would be interesting to get out of her comfort zone showing the other side of architecture. The Eastern culture arose immediately on her mind as it is a distinct culture of that she is used to study and to work. At the same time, it proved to be extremely enriching once that, from the architectural point of view, where and how they live, how their houses work or even the organization of the whole space, is completely different from Western culture. Further, the fact that of being intervening in developing countries led her to establish the differences and the reasons for underdevelopment in comparison with developed countries.Speaking to The Wanderlust, and after an analysis of the countries where it would be interesting to intervene, within our usual destinations, it was concluded that Vietnam, more specifically the city of Chau Doc, would be the ideal venue for her thesis.Chau Doc is a border town in Mekong Delta, in southern Vietnam, where life and commerce take place around the water. Many people live in the river, in stilts houses or on the river in floating houses. Both lack of quality
and comfort, usually have 2 to 3 show rooms, not either basic conditions with an extremely clear lack of sanitation, since the river works as a solution for the performance of household chores and deposit of organic residues and inorganic .This raises the goal of creating models of sustainable housing for all those who need and do not have the means to build, using local materials, following the needs and traditions of the Vietnamese construction.
THE WANDERLUST AND T.O.S.A.A The Wanderlust apoia a T.O.S.A. – The Other Side of Architecture.

Hi guys, I’m Pedro, as it says somewhere in the “name”section.
Maybe I’m just wasting words with this preciousness.
Well, it’s obvious that I enjoy travelling, otherwise I won’t be here.
But how much do I enjoy? I don’t enjoy to the point of defining
myself completely, but without travelling or unaware that I won’t
travel in the near future, I wouldn’t be the same person! I don’t
enjoy to the point of saying that it was in genes, but the truth is
that my genes were waiting for a bunch of random events to show
them in what they could transform me.
I do exist in the trip, as much as the trip exists in me. We dance,
have dinner together and go throughout the night until early
morning in adventures that will stay forever in the dark sands of
bonfires on the beach, tattoos, footprints in the mud or marked
bodies in haystacks. This is the kind of stuff that I would like to
share with you!
“I do exist in the trip, as much as the trip exists in me”.

I was born to the world in Guimarães, lost the innocence of the
Old Continent when I arrived Oporto, felt all splendour of Europe
when I moved to Belgium and after spending my adult life in
France, I thought it was time to seek for a lover that could give me
something new: South America!
The trips that more often cross my mind are a winter in Tallinn,
several summers in Madrid, a cycling (and scooter) tour in
Portugal, a greco-italian interrail, a Balkan road trip, a bicycle
pilgrimage to Santiago and being a South American nomad.
“South America – the lover that always gives me some-thing new”.

In my opinion all the corners of the world have something mag-
ical, something that differs them from any other place, it can be
the people, the landscapes or simple their smell. For these rea-
sons I believe that all of them deserve to be visited, deserve to be
lived. There isn’t the beautiful and the ugly, there isn’t the good
and the bad, instead there is a difference, what makes each place
special in his own way.
I travel mostly to share, share knowledge, share stories, share
moments, share smiles…
“I travel mostly to share.”

Daughter of two geographers, I had the fortunate
opportunity to travel since very early. We rented jeeps to
cross the brazilian northeast, we camped in nature parks in
the United States, crossed Cuba, got lost ourselves at night
and ended at the greatest paradise on Earth. Because of
the type of trip that my parents provide me, I also noticed
the brutal social inequalities that unfortunately still well-
creased worldwide. Since young age, I realized that my life
would have to be related with community-based tourism – I
studied, I became a social worker and, since then, I have
tried to take every great and small opportunities that life
brings me – and that I bring to my life!
After several experiences ranging from Brazil to Africa, I
can say that I am genuinely and deeply in love for what I do
and therefore, I always try to inspire and motivate everyone
to do the same. I do believe that is essential to travel, meet
and grow in several areas.

To travel is my favourite verb and, at the same time, an addiction.
It’s something that is well rooted in the family, that’s why I’ve
began travelling since I was child with my parents. However, it
was after college that I’ve truly began to venture out the world.
So far, I have not stopped and I don’t want to!
I particularly like backpacking through countries with a culture
and civilization completely different from mine. Lose myself
between streets and alleys, smells, sounds and tastes. Enjoy
the silence of the mountain, the majesty of temples and the
vastness of the forest. Enjoy a beautiful beach, ride some good
waves and explore the wonderful underwater world. Observe
animals in their natural habitat and the daily lives of the people
that cross my path. Feel the differences that make us unique
and, at the same time, equals!
“To travel is my favourite verb and, at the same time, anaddiction.”

My fascination for travel began early – since I was baby that I was
travelling with my parents to everywhere, inside and outside Portugal.
It would be, however, at the age of 5, when I convinced my parents
to put me alone in a plane to go to visit my uncles in Germany that
this passion aroused in full, in a typical case of love at first flight!
Passionate by the outdoors and nature, you can find me exploring
new destinations by walking, by bike, by kayak or by boat. I love
the unexpected, the spontaneity and not really knowing where I
am … that the travels enable.
Slowly, I’ve been in the four corners of the world and found a
little piece of heaven in Australia, where I explore every kilometre
since six years ago and where I (re)discovered surf, in which
I’m truly addicted. I share the experience on the website www.
sofianaaustralia.com.
I have almost infinite patience, but in the absence of chocolate
I can turn into an aggressive person. But all ends up well if I can
sleep outdoors or in a tent. Once a journey ends, I start to think
about next destination.
“ The passion for travelling aroused in full, in a typical case of love at first flight!”

About this of travelling, I think, first of all, that there should be at the entry newsletters of the countries – along the squares of “leisure”, “tourism”, “smuggling” … – the squares “unite” and “share”.While applying for travellers, we all have a common dream that is to enjoy a well deserved holiday – and don’t use the excuse of lack of money, as there are several famous vagabond travellers (Kerouac or the vagabond Cela that inspired me the craft).
There is then the metaphysical part, the initiation. I believe that a trip is always a discovery. A pilgrimage. A personal thing.Perhaps those who read me will go one day to Bazaruto to play football with the boy Reis-Pedro, or climb mountains with Pavel Rajtar, the slovak mountaineer who climbed Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary, and send them a hug from the wanderer Salazar.
“ I believe that a trip is always a discovery. A pilgrimage.A personal thing.”

Riding a horse in the Argentinian countryside. A colonial city which mummies inhabit, even if five centuries have gone by. The world’s driest desert. The altitude.
Lagoons of different colors, shapes and sizes, all of them beautiful. Trekking on canyons and geysers by sunrise on the top of a mountain. A hot bath heated by a
volcano and another bath on a salt lake. Flamingoes, llamas, mountains, volcanoes and again the desert. Trees made of stone, houses made of salt and the wonders of a white
ground and blue sky, as far as the eye can reach. A train cemetery. A city scattered on high mountain slopes. A witchcraft market. A civilization gone for over a thousand years, which
is now World Heritage. The highest navigable lake in the world and a magic island where the Sun and its most faithful disciples inhabit. And so many other things!
This journey in Argentina, Chile and Bolivia unveils the best of this marvelous region – 15 days of constant discoveries, between 1187 and 4000 meters above sea level, which will provide you
with photos that will make your friends back home jealous. A real adventure to get you high (with the help of a “coca” caramel).

Brazil glues to the skin, embraces us, loves us, challenges us, shakes us and even the most shy and hardened, without
dancing feet and closed heart, end up surrendering. If there is a country that symbolizes the dance of life, the territory of
happiness, the place in the sun and the sound, is this. If what counts is the memory of travel, as Laurence Sterne wrote, remind
me of Brazil is to remember moments of pure joy.

The autonomous city of Santa Maria de los Buenos Aires, capital of the Argentinian Republic, is the starting point of this trip. The city known as the “Paris of South America”, which gave God Maradona to football, God’s emissary
Francis to Catholicism, the divinely polemic Evita to history and the Gods of Tango Gardel, Piazzolla and Troilo, among others, to music. Buenos Aires is not one city, it’s several. What unites everybody in this quilombo? The passion!
Montevideo is the sister capital of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, being separated only by the River Plate and 200 years of independence from the vice-royalty with the same name. You can change borders, but you can’t change
passions, thus Montevideo is also the epicenter of the union of these two multitudes: the tango, the mate, the football, the love stories and the tragedies – in short, life!
And if the size difference of both capitals and countries is more than obvious, it is also true that Uruguay can keep within its small dimensions some pearls which we will visit, such as Colonia del Sacramento (world heritage site and founded by
Portuguese in 1680), Punta del Este (once upon a time a tranquil sea port, now turned to the “Monte Carlo of South America”) and Cabo Polonio (the refuge of a hippie community, where the roads are made of sand, the electricity reaches the lighthouse
alone and the potable water arrives with the rest of the supplies, by truck). If Buenos Aires represents all the madness of a passionate city, Uruguay can be a pleasant counterpoint of tranquility, for which
you only need to enjoy the sunset next to one of the several lighthouses of the Oriental Republic. This is the enchantment of the River Plate, this is where the porteña passion lives!

Cape Verde is a isleño destination inadvisable to those who feel suffocated by the idea of being constantly surrounded by water (salt). In fact the sea is present in everything.
Penetrates into the skin, is absorbed by the organs and is sweated in the form of saudade. Sodad and morabeza are the two most used creole words in the islands, when we want to place
Cape Verde in the geography of the heart. The diva of barefoot, Cesaria Evora, took charge, later in life, to put Cape Verde on the map of the world as we know it. She sang Cape Verde like no one
ever made it, barefoot and groggy body on a bench, there in the middle of the stage … from Japan to France, Argentina to Shanghai. An impoverished woman that very young started singing in the bars of
Mindelo…scaring hungry with the groggy and disaffection with the music. In fact, the diva of barefoot is the parable of this people. Hard, proud…but in the most unlikely moments
open to us their hearts and homes for us to settling in any more large artery or more airy room.As an archipelagic destination, Cape Verde is disparate in the ten islands that make up the puzzle. From
ten, nine of them inhabited, we selected those who for reasons of historical, cultural and/or environmental importance will be more attractive to the traveler.

Mahal, sleep under the stars in the desert and feel the energy of Ganges River in the morning. Get into to a train to travel aimlessly, ride an autorickshaw, talk with the local

| Get on the empty wagons of the biggest train of the world, for twelve hours into the desert; | Immerse yourself in the immensity of the fish market in Nouakchott, with the thousands of vessels that come to leave the catch of the day;
| Walk around the Mauritanian Sahara with the voice and stories of our local guide, falling asleep under the stars and ending in Legueila Oasis; | Walk through the narrow streets of the old city of Chuinguetti, knowing its mythical library;
| Relax in Terjit Oasis.
It’s not Morocco or Senegal, or Mali, no, it’s really Mauritania. Do you know little about it? It’s normal, you’re not alone. But soon you’ll know more. And then you’ll want that your friends also know it, that was what happened to
me. We’re not friends yet, but we will be, so I want you to know it.This unknown country is a pearl, with its cultural diversity and grandiose landscape. We’ll pass by the bizarre and
interesting capital of Nouakchott, diving in the fish market at the time when hundreds of boats arrive at the beach with the catch of the day. We will go up to Nouadhibou through two-thirds of the country, passing through towns and
villages, that will give us a fleeting but interesting perspective about the local LIFE. We’ll have a deserved beach day and then we will board the train that will provide you the best experience of your LIFE. Sun setting, a world of stars and we all
with smiles dressed up. From Choum, our destiny, we will continue to Atar, by dirt roads and breathless landscapes. From there, on the next day, we’ll depart to the desert, through Chinguetti, the mythical city of the ancient caravan, with obligatory
passage in its wonderful library. We will spend two nights in the wilderness, with campfire talks evenings and then we’ll head to Terjit, the oasis that leaves us questioning the purpose of Nature, relaxing on the last day before returning to Nouakchott.
After a goodbye, there is a new version of us on our returning home.

Morocco, officially Kingdom of Morocco, is the most western country in the Muslim world, with a rich history of cultures berber, arab, african and european.
For westerners this has an immediate and lasting fascination, where travel between the present and past are a constant!
From the tranquility of the mountains to the dunes of the Sahara Desert, we are presented with simple breathtaking pleasures! In the frenetic cities, we breath a mixture
of exotic and familiar, where we mingle with a crowd following the tradition of nomadic and traders with centuries of history.
The diversity of landscapes, the contrasts between the old medina and the Ville Nouvelle, its great architectural diversity, the intense smells, the colors, the traditional costumes and
the people, all add up to make Morocco an intense and rewarding experience that assaults our senses every second!
The trick, is to see the world going by with the locals, while enjoying various activities, sleeping in the famous riads and relaxing on the panoramic terraces and large squares.

| Visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop and learn about the diamond fever from decades ago.
“If the sun sets everyday, what does it matter to see it?”, is what usually goes through the the subconscious of people. Probably because they are not sitting in one of the biggest dunes in the
world surrounded, with newly made friends and a sense of surprise every day.Namibia inspires beautiful feelings in all who visit it. Having one of the lowest population densities
in the world, it offers us a wide range of entertainment, inspirational images, colour schemes and perfect plateaus.
Throughout our trips within our several destinations you’ll see so many animals that you can say that you will do a 3200 km safari! But some of them are not so easily seen, so we’ll get lost in Etosha National
Park, one of the best safaris in the world. We’ll go on walks on Waterberg Plateau expecting to see animals that find their perfect shelter in this awesome place. We’ll climb the Sossusvlei dunes almost with a terrible
effort, only to realize it was all worth it when we reach the summit and have that scenario right in front of us, and we’ll seat on the edge of Fish River Canyon, a canyon that ends up being the biggest attractions in South Africa.
All and all, a bunch of attractions that are bound to stay with you forever.

Peru is a complex country and full of contrasts, where the potential for adventure and discovery is endless! From the bubbling chaos of cities like Lima and Arequipa, to the tranquillity of the
Sacred Valley or some coastal town wrapped in the nostalgic garúa, passing by the desert or the dense and virgin Amazon rainforest, the geographical, gastronomic and archaeological richness, as
well as the local fauna and flora is absolutely stunning! All of this abundance based in one of the richest historic and cultural heritages of the world, of which
the Inca Empire is the most known of all, and whose main symbol is the site of Machu Picchu, one of the world’s new 7 wonders. The development of several ancestral civilizations made Peru the “navel of the
world” until the arrival of the Spanish conquistadores in the XVIth century and, ever since, developed into a country of so many crossings and rhythms, from the more modern to the most traditional.
This is an exotic land, of humble and truthful people, but also of legends and superstitions, such as the ones who originated the enigmatic Nazca lines and the millennial ruins spread a bit all over the country. It’s a land
that grabs all of our senses at once, which makes us admire the simplicity and joy of the day-to-day life and where you will want to come back over and over again!

THE WANDERLUST TRIPS
What are The Wanderlust trips?
We do believe that the great life experiences are better when shared. For this
reason, we design trips for small groups in which the spirit is that of a group of
friends who joined to go on holidays travelling, on destination, like the locals.
Each adventure is carefully designed by one of our Wanderlusters, in a responsible
and sustainable way, ensuring you explore amazing destinations, having an
unforgettable and authentic experience!
The motto is simply: ADVENTURE, DISCOVER, EXPLORE, LIVE!
Who are The Wanderlust travellers?
The Wanderlust travellers are not defined by age or by nationality but by their
attitude. Open-minded, positive energy, with environmental and social awareness
and a passion and enormous need for exploring the world and connect to it? These
are our travellers! So, when you book your adventure with us, you know with whom
you can count! Do not worry if you’re travelling alone, many of our travellers are
single travellers and with us you will have an excellent opportunity to do new friends.
Why travel with The Wanderlust?
All our trips are designed to provide you unforgettable and amazing moments. By
travelling with us, you are aligning into something unique and authentic that lets you
immerse yourself in local life. These are some of the reasons why you should travel
with us:
We travel in small groups giving you the feeling of being exploring a destination
independently, but at the same time with a good social energy, enabling flexibility
throughout the course and a greater connection between people.
Our Wanderlusters are knowledgeable and experienced people in the
proposed destinations and above all, they love what they do. Tell them what
you want to see, do or eat and they will help you to make it happen. They are
essentially there to guide you and certify that you take advantage of your
experience to the fullest without restricted times and without running around!
Sustainability is very important to us and for which the contribution of all is
important! Whether in education and awareness of travellers, in our policy
of sustainable travel arrangements or in our Future Wanderlusters project,
sustainability is something that lives and breathes among our team.
We use local transport because above all we like to travel like the locals
do. In our travels, whenever possible, it is guaranteed genuine local
transport, putting you at the centre of the action, allowing you to move more
authentically and contribution to the development of the local economy.
We use local accommodation so you can experience unforgettable places,
host communities and affable locals. It can be in a typical Toraja village, in
Indonesia, a favela in Rio de Janeiro, a desert camp in Morocco, a family
business in Vietnam or a swag in Australia, where you rest your head at the
end of the day is a very important part of your experience and that will making
it even more authentic.
Can I just do part of the trip?
Yes, although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused.
Can I make any changes to the itinerary of my group trip, either before
or during the trip?
Please make sure you are happy with your trip itinerary before booking, because
we are unable to change them for individual travellers. However, if you and a group
of friends, would like your own personally designed itinerary, get in contact with us.
