customizing your financial planOur approach to financial planning is client-centric. We work to understand your unique circumstances and help you develop a comprehensive wealth strategy that takes a 360° view of your investments and liabilities. This includes your current investment holdings, insurance policies, home financing, secured and unsecured lines of credit, and business financing and much more. Our goal is to help you bring organization and discipline to your finances.

Our Approach

1 Gathering the Inputs to Set the Strategic Allocationsthe global Investment Committee gathers and analyzes historical market data, economic indicators and other fundamental factors to build long-term projections of risk and return for a variety of asset classes. then the committee produces a series of strategic portfolios for various investor types, wealth levels and risk-tolerance profiles. these strategic portfolios represent the blend of asset classes identified by the committee as well suited, over time, to achieving maximum investment return for a given level of risk.

2 Tweaking the Mix to Seize Near-Term Opportunitiesthe global Investment Committee then formulates base-case, bull-case and bear-case global economic outlooks. In order to enhance the risk-adjusted return of our clients’ portfolios, periodically the global Investment Committee will recommend deviations —namely underweight or overweight — from the strategic portfolio weightings. these tactical recommendations are designed to capitalize on current and prospective developments in financial and real-asset market conditions and are based on key indicators that have been gathered and evaluated by the committee.

3 Honoring the Portfoliosthe deviations from the strategic allocations recommended by the global Investment Committee in a set of tactical portfolios. these portfolios represent the committee’s best thinking on asset allocation over the shorter term — typically 12 months or so.

4 Using the PortfoliosWe use the model portfolios as the foundation for a range of investment approaches and implementation vehicles. We also use the models to inform our guidance on how you should allocate your investments. In some programs, you will have the option to choose between strategic and tactical advice.

designed for your goals, time horizon and risk tolerance.”

Managing the Transition to RetirementWhile we help our clients address many goals, virtually all are primarily

concerned with developing a sound retirement plan. the first step in this process is to determine how much income you will need. We’ll

discuss what kind of retirement lifestyle you envision and how much income it will take to sustain it. then we’ll look at the assets you have accumulated within your company savings and incentive programs and

beyond. We’ll also factor in the impact of government retiree programs like Social Security and Medicare. By helping you develop a realistic plan, we

mitigate your fears of outliving your assets by considering investment vehicles that are designed to sustain your retirement income — and preserve your lifestyle.
