ThemeThe focus for 2012 will be on how collaboration is becoming a
key component of workflow processes through the intersection
of real-time and on-demand capabilities, how visual and
data collaboration increasingly is going mobile, and how
collaboration platforms are converging, interoperating, and in
general helping enterprises globalize and find new methods of
being productive and effective over distance.
New emphasis on networkingWR’s Collaboration Summits are known for their thought
leadership and for their ability to bring together industry and
customer movers and shakers. Vendors and service providers,
resellers and SI’s and enterprise users value the unique
networking opportunities afforded by WR events.
FormatEach agenda topic will be addressed in an in-depth manner
through a variety of perspectives – a mix of analyst, vendor
sponsor, and end user - in order to give conference attendees
valuable take-away information that will help them deploy
solutions in their own enterprises and develop new ideas for
product futures.
New Sponsorship OpportunitiesGold Sponsors of each event will have an opportunity to
provide an educational (no overt marketing) presentation on
a key issue. We also invite our Gold Sponsors to provide an
end user customer speaker for an additional agenda slot. We
have found that this is the most effective way for sponsors to
promote their solution set. These presentations will be melded
with a WR analyst overview presentation to provide topical
coverage with depth and precision. All sponsors, whether
Gold or Silver, receive wide exposure in both WR media and at
each event’s display area.

OverviewThe Wainhouse Research Collaboration Summits are the premier
industry events for the conferencing and collaboration community,
now entering their 11th year and with a renewed emphasis on all
things that help enterprises work, team, meet, and learn in real-time,
on-demand, and over distance.
The European Collaboration Summit is scheduled to intersect with Integrated
Systems Europe (ISE), Europe’s number 1 show for professional AV and electronic
systems integration. In 2011 the ISE show drew over 28,000 delegates to interact
with over 600 exhibitors and to attend a variety of training sessions and networking
opportunities. Scheduling the Collaboration Summit to immediately precede ISE
will enable attendees to visit both events and leverage their travel investment to the
conveniently located Amsterdam.
Over half the attendees of the 2011 Summit were new to WR events and
contributed to making it one of our largest and most successful events ever. Many
came from up and down the eastern seaboard. The new location is especially
convenient to government, pharmaceuticals & financial services firms, and we
expect an equally solid turnout in 2012.

The Premier Conferencing & Collaboration Event
The Wainhouse Research Collaboration Summits are devoted to exploring all aspects of conferencing and collaboration technologies and services. The events bring together speakers from corporate and public sector enterprises sharing their real-world experiences and future plans, WR analysts speaking on key technology and market trends, and select thought leaders presenting their views on the future of the collaboration industry.
The 2012 Summits will focus on emerging and converging technologies and solutions in both the product and services space and the business and technology trends that are shaping the industry. The discussions and presentations are always informative, entertaining, and highly interactive.

Gold Sponsor Leadership Opportunities A strictly limited, exclusive set of Gold sponsors will have an opportunity to position themselves as thought leaders by working
with Wainhouse Research to develop a theme relevant to today’s users of collaboration solutions and by showing how their
solutions are helping customers improve their collaborative outcomes. The intent is to have each theme supported by separate
presentations from 1) a Wainhouse Research Senior Analyst, 2) a Gold sponsor representative, and 3) an end user customer. The
list below shows themes we believe are appropriate for the Summit audience and we will work with each individual Gold Sponsor
to ensure that their presentation meets the expectations of our target audience:
Silver Sponsor Opportunities
Silver sponsors receive significant exposure through pre-event
marketing, Summit display area, and event networking. Many
sponsors remark that the quality of the connections and leads
developed at WR Summits far exceed what is accomplished at large
trade shows.
Networking Cocktail Reception
From the feedback we receive it is clear that one of the highlights for all participants is the Networking Cocktail Reception held on
the evening of the first day of each Summit. This offers everyone a chance to review the day’s discussions and tour the exhibition
area in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. Undoubtedly, this part of the day is one of the most popular and missed by no-one!
