There was a man named

Christopher Columbus.

He was from Spain.

He had ideas of a new world.

He wanted to travel to this new world but he didn’t have the funds, so he went

to the king and queen of Spain.

The King told Columbus he would give him the money for his voyage if he brought back gold

and spread religion. He gave him 3 ships.

Christopher Columbus arrived in the new world and was greeted by Native Americans.

The Indians said that they were welcome to anything of there's. Food, water, shelter, and

gold.

The Native Americans, or Indians, showed them to a great meal.

To this day we call this day Thanksgiving.

But then Christopher Columbus tried to spread religion.
