    that will help steer a 30 -year sustainability visionfor the Town of Hinton was decided at the Sept. 15council meeting.

    Eleven members of the public were chosen from27 applicants and will join Town councillors MikeJodoin and Jan e Macridis on the CAG, with Coun.Buzz Johnson named as an alternate. Council als odecided to indude a Yellowhead County position.This assures representation of a key partner,said Wendy Lesser, niunicipal sustainabffity coordinator for the Town.

    Eleven public members were chosen bycouncillors based on a ballot system, indudingJason Griffiths, Jerome Cranston, Jennifer Norquay,Dale Rhyason, Gary Neilsen, Tyler Waugh, TanyaRichardson, Dan Ro llert, Scott Sunderwald, BradYoung and EllenAust.

    Administration will now contact successfulapplicants to ensure they will allow their name tostand for the committee. Mayor Glenn Taylor askedadministration to also contact those not chosen forCAG and inform them of other subcommittee needs.There are a lot of good people on that list wecouldnt indude, but whose insights we could useelsewhere in the process, Tay lor said afterward.A CAG meeting schedule, as well as one forpublic input forums, is in the works.
