ATTENDANCE REPORT: October 12, 2014
What comes to your mind when you hear the word “connect?” You probably experience a little more emotion if I use the phrase “missed connection.” There is nothing better than a soul you can connect with on every level. That is the way God feels about you and the neighbors around you. That is the primary drive behind Christ and His church here at Edmond. It is the mission of Mission Edmond and the purpose of the Connect initiative. Connecting with our community and connecting our community to Christ.
This week has reminded us again that people are eager to serve and reach out. It’s sometimes challenging to connect the dots looking forward, but much easier looking back. God put upon our leaders a burden for our community and it was demonstrated by Christ’s people this past week. All the planning and preparation led to new and better connections to people of all generations whom God loves. What a blessing to see more than 100 Christians as leaders, coordinators, food planners, pray-ers, promoters, teachers, and laborers who made this pilot program happen.
Please put Mission Edmond on your calendar October 15-17, 2015. God is faithful and will lead us to greater connections ahead.
