During our 11:00 Service, we have childcare available for infants through PreK. PASSIONATE WORSHIP Publicity Requests: http://publicityform.asburylv.org/ From Sunday, 12/14, through the Christmas Eve,12/24, we will have an Asbury adver- tisement playing on 100.7 WLEV. During this time of the year, 100.7 plays 24 hours of Christmas music. The ad is a 15 second spot inviting people in our community to come to our Christmas Eve services if they do not have a church home. The ad will be played multiple times during the day and evening during this 10-day period. My prayer is that people who do not know the hope and joy of Christmas will encounter the love of Christ at Asbury that evening. In order to extend the love of Christ through Radical Hospitality, we will need many volunteers. I would like you to prayerfully con- sider volunteering for one of the many opportunities to serve at Asbury on Christmas Eve or the day before. You can learn more about areas to serve and sign up by click- ing on the Christmas Eve Services banner on the home page of our website (www.Asburylv.org). Next week we will conclude our Advent series of sermons “The Carols of Christmas.” In week four of Advent we will look at the carol “Hark, the Herald Angels Sing.” This is one of the deepest and richest Christmas carols and it was written by Charles Wesley in 1739. The carol includes references to a number of the Messianic prophecies point- ing to the birth of the Messiah. The song is also rich in theological themes of what Christ did for us in order for us to have salvation. The Jubilation Ringers & Calvary Men Singers will present "Impressions of Christmas” (A Worship Experience on the True Meaning of Christmas) on Sunday, 12/14, at 4:00 PM in the Sanctuary. (Snow date is Sunday, 12/21). Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. Asbury Spiritwear is a great holiday gift option!
