Wednesday Night Supper (WNS)
New Men’s Small Group
The Chancel Choir will be processing into the church more often. It is a liturgical
and historic part of worship.
Definition: An ordered and meaningful progress of ministers and people to a sacred
place in ceremonial manner. It may include the carrying of crosses, banners, lights,
relics, branches or the Sacrament. History: Christian processionals have been known since the 4th century. They
invoke the Biblical exodus out of Egypt, the procession of the Ark of the Covenant,
entry of pilgrims into Jerusalem for festivals, and Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem for
Passover. Meaning: We gather for worship outside (our daily, secular lives and community)
and approach God, through Christ, with the cross going before us. “But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and
through us spreads in every place the fragrance that comes from knowing him.”
2 Cor. 2:14

Sponsor a Lunch for REACH!

We are looking for individuals and/or groups to: financially sponsor
lunch (one-time or regularly) OR provide a lunch (cooked or catered) for

contribute to the growth of this incredible ministry to our community.

Processing
This years’ theme for Stewardship is “Our Generous God.” Over the next three
weeks, we will consider the many ways that God is generous to us and how we, in
turn, are generous to others.
This week we will talk about Our Faith. We will explore ways that we are
transformed by God’s amazing love and grace as we participate in making disciples of
Jesus for the transformation of the world.
You should have received information in your mail earlier this week giving more
details about this years’ campaign. We will mail additional information soon, as well
as Estimate of Giving Cards and Time and Talent surveys.
We’re looking forward to seeing you in worship on Sunday!

until he or she moves onto what’s next. It goes by fast, and kids change and
grow quickly. This study will help you discover what’s changing about
your child, the six things your child needs most, and four conversations to
have with your child while they are in each phase.
