ESTATE VO-VIET DAI BANG

LONG HO HOI CUNEO MASTER PAOLO LOVERA

Anche questa estate, come ogni estate, dopo gli esami di fine anno e lachiusura ufficiale dei corsi, la sezione di Cuneo dell'ASD La Piccola Foresta VoViet Dai Bang ha ripreso gli allenamenti al parco.

Gli allenamenti si sono tenuti nella bella cornice del Parco Villa Sara di Cuneo,con le montagne sullo sfondo, il suono del fiume e tanto verde.Gli allenamenti si sono svolti ogni luned e mercoled dalle ore 20.00 alle ore21.30 a partire dal 16 di giugno con la sola pausa di 20 giorni ad agosto.

Durante la sessione estiva (completamente gratuita) sono stati affrontatiallenamenti a coppie di BastoneCon, doppia sciabola(song dao), lavori amani nude e lo studio del Tam Kiene del Tuyen Sinh.

La partecipazione stata sempre buona e l'atmosfera estiva ha contribuitoulteriormente a consolidare relazioni di amicizia tanto che spesso alla fine dellelezioni ci si trovava tutti assieme per andare a cenare o bere qualcosacondividendo la nostra passione.

Sono continuati gliallenamenti per la

sezione Vinh Xuan ognisettimana a Bernezzo e aVernante con lIstruttoreAlberto Dalmasso.

Durante la sessioneestiva si sono praticateintensamente anche lelezioni della Learning

Letter, in particolare unlavoro di applicazioneintensivo delle tecnicheThang-Moc-Muc e Nhat

Luyen Kiem in varie variazioni tecniche, oltre che lo sviluppo della disciplinaNoi-Cong Chi-Luc.

Lallenamento estivo culminato con un Intensive Training di 4 giorni, dal 27al 31 agosto, anche per 8/9 ore al giorno che ha visto la partecipazione di

atleti, oltre che dallItalia, dalla Francia e dal Belgio.

AAA Cercasi traduttori volontari! Questo fu il mio appello alquale, con piacevole sorpresa ed immensa gratitudine, risposerosette dei miei allievi.

Cominciammo subito a distribuire i testi da tradurre, dapprima inmaniera del tutto casuale, poi scegliendoli per tipologia e livellotecnico.

I GRANDI GUERRIERI

DEL DAI-NAM

INTRODUZIONE

Anno 1583, Provincia di Yen-Bai

In un giorno piovoso dellautunno 1583,anno della Capra, uno straniero entr in

un piccolo villaggio situato nella partepi a nord della Provincia di Yen-Bai.

Nessuno sapeva da dove era venuto conuna manciata di seguaci in questo postolontano e desolato.

Egli poi vi stabil il suo misterioso

quartier generale. Disse di chiamarsiQuy-Su, il maestro-demone e lapopolazione locale era felice dichiamarlo cos anche se non aveva

ancora fatto alcun danno.

Ma la sua faccia mostrava la sua anima interiore: fronte spaziosa,

occhi luminosi pieni di invidia e crudelt, grandi denti bianchi. Eraalto e si muoveva velocemente. La sua lunga spada affilatasembrava invincibile.

Da quel momento questo luogo prese il nome di Nui-Hu, lamontagna dei lamenti, a causa dei suoni desolanti che la gentespesso sentiva la sera. Anche se questo posto non era davverounalta montagna.

Era un luogo costituito da piccoli monti che formavano spaziristretti per il passaggio dalla pianura alle montagne pi alte oppureoltre di esse, come una scorciatoia.Il percorso verso il luogo in cui si trovava Quy-Su era deserto elontano dalla citt di Yen-Bai.

Lo stretto sentiero che conduceva in quel luogo era deserto efrequentato solo da poveri viaggiatori o Trang-Si, cavalieri, senzapaura. Uomini forti che volevano sfidare le montagne attraversoquesto passaggio e risparmiare un giorno rispetto a quelli cheavevano preso la strada pi facile, ma pi lunga, della pianura.

Quy-Su era molto crudele, ma anche abbastanza intelligente, danon attaccare la popolazione locale. Aveva messo su un metodo deltutto legale per soddisfare i suoi oscuri desideri colmi disuperstizione.Aveva messo un grande cartello sul lato della strada, per iviaggiatori, ma rivolto ai cavalieri che passavano di l, i qualiavevano la possibilit di sottomettersi alla sua protezione oppure di

THE COLLECTOR OF HEADS

Year 1583, Province of Yen-Bai

In a rainy autumn day in 1583, year of the Goat, a stranger arrivedto a small hamlet located in the far northern part of Yen-BaiProvince. No one knew from where he had come with a handful ofhenchmen to this distant and desolate place. He then established

his mysterious head quarter there. He called himself as QUY-SU,the demon-master and the local people were also pleased to callhim so although he did do any harm to them so far.

But his face could show his inner soul: bulky forehead, bright eyesfull of envy and cruelty, large white teeth. He was tall and movingfast. His slashing long sword seemed invincible. Since then thisplace bore the name of NUI-HU, the howling-mountain because ofthe dreary sounds people often heard off in the evening. This placewas not really a high mountain.

There were moderate mounts forming narrow gaps that offeredpasses from the plain below up to the higher mountains ahead ordown to the other side as a short cut. The path through QUY-SU'place is desert and far from the town of Yen-Bai. This narrow road

passing here was frequented only by poor travellers and fearlesstrang-si, those strong men who wanted to challenge the mountainsby this shortcut and save one day against those who took theeasier way below.
