Integrated Junior College Program

Need for Integrated ProgramIn the present day scenario, to secure admission to the local engineering / medical colleges, students need to excel at MHT-CET (Engineering / Medical Entrance Exam) but at the same time students can not ignore Std. XII, as it is the base for all Engineering / Medical Entrance Exams.

Students have to prepare well for Std. XI, XII and Engineering / Medical Entrance exams. Preparing for two

different exams puts tremendous pressure on students. Students get torn between their College schedule

and their coaching classes, and they are left with hardly any time for self study.

Therefore synchronisation of MHT-CET and Std. XI, XII teaching is the need of the hour.

The training for Std. XI, XII and MHT-CET Exam is synchronised in our Classroom Program. As a result, students can focus on getting their fundamentals and concepts cleared right from the beginning, rather than rushing through topics without really understanding them.

Integrated Program Highlights

Since the syllabus will be covered by Vidyalankar alone, there will be no duplication and waste of time, which would otherwise happen in a regular college. Thus students will get sufficient time for self study.

Being with a group of friends who are equally focused about their studies is very important in Std. XI and XII. Students will be in the company of such focused study groups in our Integrated Program.

Students will be first trained for Std. XI, Std. XII exam, followed by training for MHT-CET.

Std. XI & XII are subjective exams, whereas MHT-CET is an objective type of exam. Therefore, although the syllabus

1. Weekly Subjective Tests - Topic-wise Subjective Tests for Std. XI & Std. XII are conducted every week.

2. Weekly Objective Tests - Objective Tests for MHT-CET are conducted every week.

3. Full Length Subjective Tests - Full Length Subjective Tests for Std. XII are conducted once the syllabus is

completed.

4. Full Length Objective Tests - Full Length Mock MHT-CET Tests are conducted before and after the Std. XII

exam.

Q. Are the question paper of the MHT-CET and Std. XII similar?

A. Although the syllabus of the MHT-CET is exactly identical to that of the Std. XII, the pattern of the question paper is entirely different vis-a-vis the Std. XII question papers. The Std. XII Exam is a subjective type exam, whereas the MHT-CET is an objective type exam. The students get less than a minute per question in Paper I as well as in Paper II and about 1.8 minutes per question in Paper III of MHT-CET. Thus accuracy and speed are the two main aspects of the MHT-CET.

Q. Which Board should one select?

A. We strongly recommend the State Board since the MHT-CET is based on the State Board Syllabus.

Q. How does one select a college?

A. Students should select a college which offers an Integrated Program for Std. XI+XII + MHT-CET. Selecting such a college will help the students to synchronize his Std.XI, XII and MHT-CET. This avoids the unnecessary duplication of attending College and Classes separately and thus results in huge saving of time.

Q. Which subjects should Engineering aspirants opt for?

A. We recommend that Engineering aspirants should take Bi-focal subjects (ofcourse along with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English). This will reduce their burden of studying for Biology and the 2nd language.

Q. Which subjects should Medical aspirants opt for?

A. We recommend that Medical aspirants should take IT subject (ofcourse along with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and English). This will reduce their burden of studying for the 2nd language.

Q. What if students have doubts after the lecture?

A. Our faculty always waits after the lecture to solve the doubts. Also, as part of our Pedagogy, we have built-in-Doubt Solving sessions after the completion of every topic.
