• Planning Principles
• Meeting Place Outlets
• Introducing the TFC
Short Term Solution Planning Principles
A Permanent Tim Hortons upgrade is required to service the expanding campus ◦ current Tim Hortons is suitable for a campus community of 6000 people
Pizza Pizza relocation required to accommodate the expanded Tim
Hortons The Closure of the North Building Cafeteria will stress the existing
food service infrastructure ◦ Although a limited service Tim Hortons Kiosk will be maintained in the North
Building
The requirement to vacate Spigel Hall by Winter 2013 will create a serious food service capacity shortfall
Replacement of Mr. Sub with Subway in response to community desire identified in the Spring 2011 Food Service Survey
Short Term Solution Planning Principles
A new short term food service servery will be required to accommodate the community as a result of the:
◦ Displacement of services:
due to redevelopment of the Meeting Place due to redevelopment of Spigel Hall due to the North Building cafeteria closure
◦ The anticipated annual enrolment growth of 5%
...until a permanent food service facility can be built as part of the future Davis Building redevelopment project
