The scientific name for a scorpion•There are around 2000 different species

of scorpions and each species has its own "scientific name" for example, the black emperor scorpion is Pandinus imperator. likewise, the Asian forest scorpion is Heterometrus spinifer

The range of a scorpion tropical rain forest, savanna, desert,

mountains and grasslands. They mostly hide out under rocks and logs to preserve energy and stay cool.

•They are normally quite light because they are small in size. They can weigh anything from a gram or two, up to 50 grams and can measure anywhere between ½ inch to 7 1/4 inches.
