These Committees shall have concurrent jurisdictionEach Committ7e may pass an Order, but such Orde~must be submItted to the other Committee and ap­proved by them, before it comes into force. The pro­mulgation of an Order so approved shall be made bythe Secretary of the Association.

The question of Endorsements having been referred to by a member, it was unanimou.lyordered that Companies be notified that the charge for Endorsement be made to apply to allplaces in the Province of Ontario. including Toronto, Hamilton and London.

The following Constitution and Rules were adopted subject to the approval of the MontrealCommittee:

ARTICLE I.-This Association shall be known as- THE CANADIAN FIRE UNDERWRITERS' ASSOCIA·TION."

ARTICLE 6.-1t shall be the duty of the Presidentto preside at all meetings of the Association, and alsoto call Special General Meetings at the written requestofnot less than one-third of themem bers-such requestto state the object or objects of such special meeting.
