Designed as a DIY aftermarket product, the SureShade RTX is lightweight enough to carry without assistance and

can be easily installed by private boat owners. The product comes complete with framework, canvas and all

necessary mounting clamps.

A versatile universal clamp design allows the shade to be easily mounted on numerous arch and wakeboard

tower designs on sport boats 27 feet and under. Assembly and installation requires no drilling – clamps simply

attach with stainless steel screws.

With a standard shade extension of 4.5 feet and a width of 5.5 feet, the system can be mounted to offer shade

forward or aft. There will be a double shade version as well, allowing canvas to extend both forward and aft at

the same time.

A necessary and unprecedented feature is its locking device that prevents the shade from self-retracting from

vibration or wind when fully extended, even while underway. Each telescoping stage locks in place for desired

amount of shade and includes a unlocking mechanism to easily retract back.

Utilizing SureShade’s flagship telescoping tubular framework, boaters can simply and swiftly pull-out and push

back the shade in a matter of seconds. There is no physical handling of canvas as the canvas automatically

rolls up on a torsion-spring roller. Boaters can decide when they want shade, or when it is not desired.

When the shade is fully extended it maintains clear, unobstructed views and does not interfere with boarding

a boat, grabbing for dock lines or enjoying watersport activities.
