• Mexico is located in South America below America and has a land size of 2 million square kilometers

• Mexico is surrounded by the Gulf Of Mexico but is a very dry country as it is within a desert.

• Mexico is located below the border of the United States Of America.

Climate

• Mexico’s climate is rather dry.

• It is located in desert plains and the temperatures often get to 40 degrees Celsius.

• The due reason for the high temperatures is due to the equator being close to Mexico.

Population

• Mexico has a population of 112 million people.

• Mexico is rather dry therefore the capital cities compensate for a large percentage of the population.

• Mexico City is Mexico's capital city with a population of 19 million people.

Culture

• Culture in Mexico revolves around family.

• All social events are involving family and often large town gatherings occur with feasts shared among other families.

• There is a strict etiquette when other families ‘Meet & Greet’ with the woman patting each other on the shoulder and men shaking hands.

Family Life

• In Mexico, the father is given authority over his family.

• He makes all decisions whether it be foods eaten and or how the money is spent and what is bought.

• Father is always head of the table and can stop and start conversation at any time he pleases.

Exports

• Coffee is the main export out of Mexico.

• Fruits and vegetables also head the list of most common exports.

• Tequila is also a large export out of Mexico. This export entertains the drinking background of Mexico.

Nutritional Value

• The nutritional value of Mexican food is rather high.

• Plenty of proteins and meats are eaten which boosts muscle growth.

• Often vegetables are eaten throughout the dishes, with chilli being a main component of the feasts. As chilli clears out the nose, and flushes the body clean, this is a major positive of eating Mexican.

Foods• In Mexico, all foods are commonly of

spicy origin as this is Mexico’s trademark.

• Often a large amount of meat and vegetables are consumed in each dish which is quite healthy for the diet.

• Some dishes though are rather high in fats and sugars which may deter the common human.

• Chilli and spices are always used in each dish, which makes each dish rather spicy and hot on the taste buds.
