1. Lower the Tongue so that the cap completely covers the ball.
2. Lock the cap in place. If the cap does not line up or lock raise the tongue, realign the vehicle, insure there are no obstructions, and try again.
3. Cross the chains clip into holes on either side of the receiver. The Emergency Trailer Brake cable should also be connected to the hitch.
4. Plug in the electrical cable. Insure nothing is dragging on the ground.
