A meal will be included at the end. The program will run concurrently with our other Wednesday night programs from 4:30-6:30. Dropoff will be from 4:30-5 p.m., programming will be 5-6 p.m., and dinner and pickup will be 6-6:30 p.m. I

End-of-Year Skate Party

Summer ministry for children here at Trinity wrapped up our last Monday program last week and we could not have had such a spectacular summer without the help of tireless volunteers. We want to especially thank Bruce Cherry and his meal team for eight consecutive Monday meals feeding dozens of children, youth and adult volunteers and the summer staff. Cathy Turner was a faithful volunteer again this year. We had several great youth volunteers who are invaluable to the success of our program. Many thanks go to Pam and the nursery staff for being there every Monday. Our Youth Minister, Simon, was right there with us each Monday as his summer schedule allowed helping with our oldest group who will one day soon be EYC themselves. And finally I want to thank the parents, those who volunteered, who donated supplies, and who have been unfailingly kind in their praise to me this summer of our programs. Altogether through our programs we had just over 100 children signed up for either Summer Series or VBS. Each summer we see kids from our parish and from the community. Some kids may have never experienced church and so we get to be ambassadors for Christ but also for the Episcopal Church where we hope to show them that everyone is welcome, and more than that, we can model the love of Christ in whatever small way so that they might carry with then into the future. As we look to next summer and begin to plan we hope you will say a prayer and consider donating your time to the wonderful work we are able to do here.

-- Jessie Stracener, Children’s Ministry Coordinator

Thanks to volunteers, parents, staff for spectacular summer!

Thanks to everyone who volunteered this summer to help with classes, crafts, music, preparing meals, cutting out projects, and everything that went into the events this summer. We had 88 children registered for the Summer Series, and 47 registered for VBS. That’s a lot of crafts,

meals, and voices raised in song.

Thank You!
