Rebuilding the Temple

Page 6: The Tribulation

(Rev 11:1-2) And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the

angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God,

and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court

which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under

foot forty and two months.

(Rev 11:1-2) And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of

God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it

is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and

two months.

(Rev 11:8) And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

A. Its meaning to God

Page 11: The Tribulation

(Psa 137:6) If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above

my chief joy.

(Psa 102:13) Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

(Zec 3:2) And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan;

even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a

brand plucked out of the fire?

Page 12: The Tribulation

(Psa 48:1-2) A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and

greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the

great King.

(Psa 48:8) As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of

hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

(Zec 8:3) Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and

Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the

mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.

B. Its linage

Page 15: The Tribulation

NOTES

It is the place where the throne of Lucifer was when he lead the “sons of God” in worship to God. (Ezk. 28)

It was the place where God took dust and created Man

It is the place where God promised Abraham that he would make him a great nation

It is the place where David desired to build God a house.

It is the place where Christ will rule from in the future

(Mat 24:1-2) And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples

came to him for to shew him the buildings of the

temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these

things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here

one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

NOTES

In 70 Ad the Roman General Titus bowled his way through Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple and scattered that nation.

For centuries the Jewish people where scatted through out the world. But just like God said in Ezk. 37 “He would regather them back in their land

Theodor Herzl

Page 22: The Tribulation

NOTES

In in 1917 the league of nations offers them some land in North Africa. But the Jewish were not satisfied with that because it was not the land that was promised to them.

Then along comes WW I. The Germans where using their Navy to block Nitrates from South Africa that Great Britain was using to Make gun powder.

Winston Churchill contacted a Chemist he knew and ask for help in the problem

Page 23: The Tribulation

NOTES

That man was, Chaim Weizmann and he helped the British war effort, by developing a new method for manufacturing of gun powder without nitrates.

After the war Great Britain wants to reward him. He being a Jew and a Zionist, supported the movement of Jews to the homeland

Therefore in 1918 the Ruler of the greatest super power on Earth at the time invoked the “Balfour declaration”

Page 24: The Tribulation

NOTES

Therefore the land was prepared for the Jews, but the Jews were not prepared for the land

It would be 30 years before the land and the people would become a nation

Although the Nation of Israel was a Nation in 1948, it did not occupy Jerusalem until 1967…
