Tristan Scroggins

been playing for less than 6 months, and he was hooked. He has since won numerous contests, including the New Mexico State Mandolin Championship (twice) and the Arizona State Mandolin Championship (2009). Tristan is currently a senior at Cherry Creek High School.

Greg Blake was born in southern West Virginia and from there acquired his love for bluegrass and mountain music.

Annie Savagesinging. Annie grew up in Iowa and began playing and performing at a very early age. She later spent six years on the road

Interlochen, the Boston Conservatory, Berklee (on performance/academic scholarship), the Oberlin Conservatory, and she has earned a MMed from the University of Colorado Boulder.

KC Grovesband’s sound and her presence strongly contributes to its Colorado identity. KC also has family ties to West Virginia, however, she grew up in a musical family in Michigan where she was a founding member of the well-known all “g’earl” old

Colorado. That project eventually made her a Coloradoan in fact as well as in spirit.
