The Top 10 Mystery Films

The Top 100 Mystery&Suspense Movies I selected the top 10 films from this top 100 Mystery&Suspense Movies list of all time because it would be much easier for me to scrutinise the trends and patterns of these films. Similarly, with my selected top 10 Actions films, this list is also based on the adjusted score to avoid such injustice some films in the industry now and it will people watch films based on their obvious greatness instead of watching films that are clearly too old for us to be engaged with(the idea that people are shown so many new films that we are more likely to watch new films then old films- links to Hypodermic Syringe model as people won’t rebel against the ads and marketing techniques film industries inject to us but they will conform to it which will lower the probability of them watching old films). A clear pattern to note is that all of these films are all in the 20 th century and before the sexual revolution so it is highly likely for them to present women as vulnerable which is important to note because how society was like in the past and how it is now is completely different. So, if I choose to pick this sub-genre, I have to either conform to the representations of how they present women or possibly subvert it.
