DR. REID VISITS TSMS
Dr. Reid held his monthly brown bag luncheon in the TSMS library where he updated teachers and community members on district new construction status, bad weather days and current state law issues. He also welcomed a few serious (and not so serious, Mr. Crow) questions from the audience.

SHOWCASE CLASSROOMS
All 7th grade science classes combine in the gym to participate in the circulatory system relays. Students “become” blood cells as they race through the heart and body.
SHOWCASE CLASSROOMS
Students in Coach Flood’s Health class work in groups to create an informational board game to review the unit concepts. They then switch groups to play, evaluate and give feedback.
SHOWCASE CLASSROOMS
8th grade ELA students in Mrs. Stewart’s class build a real connection between the class story, Flowers for Algernon, and themselves by getting in the character’s shoes and making ink plots.
SHOWCASE CLASSROOMSGTT students create batteries using copper pennies (anode), zinc nickels (cathode), and salt water on paper towel pieces (electrolyte). They then measured the voltage produced using their multimeters. One group produced an amazing 7.8 volts of electricity!
SHOWCASE CLASSROOMS
Theater students in Mrs. Coyne’s class collaborate to create their own costumes using recycled materials. They then walk the runway to themed music during a fashion show.
