MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN

A special welcome to all as we celebrate our fortieth anniversary of the Mid Argyll Music Festival. This year we welcome the return of adjudicators Joy Dunlop for Gaelic, and Ann Lampard and Christina Thompson. Our official accompanists are Alan Kitchen and Stephen Adams plus Fiona MacDonald who provide an outstanding service to our performers to whom we wish the very best in their respective classes. Our thanks go to all the tutors, teachers and parents who take time to prepare the performers upon which the success of the festival depends. The scheduling of the piping classes has been altered to Saturday, 23rd March 2019 to avoid a clash of dates with other piping fixtures. The Committee wish to extend their thanks to both Bill Gray and Ron MacInnes who, after many years’ loyal service, have chosen to stand down. We wish both of them every happiness. The Committee remain grateful to all our Sponsors and Friends who are listed in the programme. Their financial contribution continues to make this important Festival viable. If anyone wishes to become a Sponsor or a Friend then please do not hesitate to contact one of the Committee. Martin Gorringe Chairman
