INTRODUCTION The Ternio Switch is designed to operate as an inContact Agent Console on your mobile device. The Switch handles agents in the field and remote locations for industries such as nursing care, construction corporations, real estate, delivery services, etc. These industries can now have their entire team tied into inContact’s contact center platform.
HOW IT WORKS
Agents simply open the Ternio app on their mobile device. Once logged in, the agents control their available status on the go. They can switch from “Off Duty” to any specific state that the company admin has setup. The app auto populates the codes directly from your inContact Business Unit. Inbound and Outbound calls are handled seamlessly. Outbound calls now include agent to agent consults, Skill based, and Direct dial calls. Admin's can now see the Agent’s location on a live map for efficient dispatch and routing.
FEATURES

These Unavailable states, eg. “Available”, “Break”, “Off Duty”, etc., auto populate from your inContact Business Unit
● Timer to track duration in state ● Inbound and outbound calls- agent, skills based or direct ● Agent Transfers - both Cold and Warm transfers ● Agent Conference Calls ● Marquees - notifications by the Admin and through scripting sent directly to the

IMPORTANT POPUPS & AGREEMENTS
After you open the app initially and periodically, you will see a few different popups. It is very important to understand and accept each one.
Periodically you will see a push update notification. Always accept these since they will include New Features, Feature Enhancements as well as Bug Fixes.
Also, when the app is initially installed you will get two acceptance popups.
Location access acceptance and Motion Activity acceptance.
20
You must accept “Always Allow” for the Location popup!
It’s important to understand the settings and why they are required.
Location as well as Motion Activity monitoring on the Ternio Switch App has to be turned on and accepted by the user. This allows for our powerful mapping
functionality, as well as one of the ways of keeping the app from shifting into sleep mode. Keeping the Switch out of the Sleep mode keeps the app connected with
inContact’s servers.
It's important to note that viewing the agent’s location on the map is only available while they are logged into the Switch. The app does not track
anything when they are not logged in.
Additionally, since the App needs to remain active, another feature on your device that you need to understand is the PowerSave mode.
The PowerSave mode should not be used while using the Ternio Switch.
PowerSave mode moves apps to the background and will eventually turn them off. Since the Switch needs to stay active and connected, the PowerSave mode, or any
mode that puts apps into a sleep mode, should not be used.
21
USING THE APP
This is what you will see after you login.
(Note that your company logo will be showing once you upload it).
