Carilah panduan ketakwaan ini daripada kehidupan dan sunnah Rasulullah s.a.w., agar mudah-mudahan dengan itu kita mampu menemukan bimbingan daripada-Nya.

Let us find guidance in the path of taqwa through the life and sunnah of Rasulullah s.a.w. so that we can obtain guidance from Allah s.w.t.

there is none other befitting guidance for us to follow than the practices and the sunnah of Rasulullah s.a.w.

Ini kerana Bagindalah merupakan contoh dan manifestasi ajaran Al-Quran. Ini jelas terakam pada surah Al-Ahzaab ayat 21:

This is because the Prophet serves as the example and manifestation of the teachings of the Al-Quran. This is clearly mentioned in surah Al-Ahzaab verse 21:

Ertinya: “Sesungguhnya adalah bagi kamu pada diri Rasulullah itu contoh ikutan yang baik,

Meaning: “You have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct)

iaitu bagi orang yang sentiasa mengharapkan (yakni keredhaan) Allah dan (balasan baik) hari akhirat, serta ia pula menyebut dan mengingati Allah dengan banyak”

Maka pada minggu ini khatib ingin membawa pula tema berkaitan menifestasi akhlak dan etika Rasulullah dalam hal memberi perhatian pada perkembangan emosi dan sosial kanak-kanak.

This week, I would like to discussed a theme related to the noble character and ethics of Rasulullah with regards to children’s emotional and social development.

Dalam ilmu saikologi perkembangan kanak-kanak, bahawa kesan bagaimana seorang kanak-kanak itu diberi perhatian akan mempengaruhi sikap mereka ketika mereka membesar.

With regards to the psychological development of children, it is said that how attention is given to a child will influence his character when they are older.

Apatah lagi ia mencerminkan menifestasi watak ibu bapa, pengaruh rakan sebaya dan lingkungan yang mendidik mereka.

It will furthermore reflect the character of his / her parents, the influence of his / her peers, and his / her educational environment

Peranan cinta, kelembutan dan kemesraan amat berpengaruh dalam perkembangan emosi seorang kanak-kanak.

Love, tenderness and affection are essential in emotional development of a child.

Sepertimana yang diriwayatkan oleh Abu Hurairah, di mana beliau berkata: “Pada suatu hari Rasulullah s.a.w. mencium Hasan bin Ali ketika Al-Aqra’ Bin Habis At-Tamimi berhampiran dengan Baginda”.

As narrated by Abu Hurairah, he said: “One day, Rasulullah s.a.w. kissed Hasan bin Ali while Al-Aqra’ Bin Habis At-Tamimi was sitting with him.”

Al-Aqra’ kemudian berkata: “Aku mempunyai sepuluh orang anak, tetapi aku tidak pernah mencium seorang pun dari mereka”.

Al-Aqra’ observed and said: “I have ten children, but I have never kissed any of them.”

Rasulullah s.a.w. kemudian memandangnya dan bersabda: “Orang yang tidak mengasihi tidak akan dikasihi”. Hadith riwayat Imam Bukhari.

Rasulullah s.a.w. looked at him and said: “Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.” Hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari.

Dalam manhaj dakwah, pendekatan serupa juga sebenarnya berpengaruh besar pada bagaimana kita menghadapi seorang dewasa samada rakan sekerja atau anggota keluarga kita yang bermasalah dan konflik.

In da’wah manhaj, similar approach has a strong inluence with regards to how we face an adult be it colleague or our family members who are facing problems or conflict.

Atas sebab itu nasihat Al-Syahid Imam Hassan AlBanna sebagaimana yang disebut oleh Sheikh Jumu’aah Amin dengan kata-kata “nahnu nuqaatil an-nasa bil hub.” (kita menakluki manusia dengan cinta dan kasih sayang).

Due to that reason Al-Syahid Imam Hassan AlBanna offer his advice as mentioned by Sheikh Jume’aah Amin saying “we occupy (defeat) man with love and affection”

Diriwayatkan bahawa Syaddad r.a. pernah berkata: “Ketika sujud, beliau melakukannya begitu lama sekali. Lalu aku mengangkat kepalaku, ternyata ada anak kecil berada di atas punggung beliau s.a.w. Maka Aku kembali sujud.

Narrated by Syaddad r.a. who said: “One day, while the Prophet was prostrating, he was doing it for a long period of time. I then raised my head and saw a child sitting on his back, so I returned to my prostration.

Ketika Rasulullah s.a.w. telah selesai solat, orang-orang bertanya: “Ya Rasulullah, Kamu sujud lama sekali hingga kami mengira sesuatu telah terjadi atau turun wahyu”.

When Rasulullah s.a.w. completed the prayers, the people asked him: “Ya Rasulullah, we prostrated for a long time and thought that divine revelation was sent to you.”

Baginda s.a.w. menjawab: “Semua itu tidak terjadi, tetapi anakku (yakni cucuku) ini menunggangi aku, dan aku tidak ingin terburu-buru agar dia puas bermain.” Hadith riwayat Imam An-Nasaa’i.

The Prophet s.a.w. replied: “All that never happened, but my grandchild was riding on me, and I did not want to rush so that he will be contented playing.” Hadith narrated by Imam An-Nasaa’i.

•Menghayati kelakuan Rasulullah s.a.w. ketika bersama dengan cucunya.

• To understand the ethics of Rasulullah s.a.w. when he is aroound his grandchildren

•Bagaimana Rasulullah s.a.w. berkomunikasi dengan kanak-kanak mengikut kaedah yang sesuai dengan tahap pemikiran mereka. .

•Meneladani kesantunan Rasulullah s.a.w. dan kualiti masa yang diberikan terhadap anak-anak kecil.

Jalinlah kemesraan dan menyumbang positif pada keyakinan diri kanak-kanak.

Kerana dengan pendidikan melalui pujukan moral kemesraan dan bermain dengan mereka dapat memupuk sikap berdaya tahan dan yakin diri serta tidak mudah dihanyutkan arus keburukan.

Because, education with moral persuasion and affection, and playing with them will develop the attitude of perseverance and self confidence and will not easily be swept by the wave of immorality.

Kanak-kanak perlukan perlindungan dan pemerhatian, kerana dalam banyak hal isu keganasan dan gangguan mental seorang anak berpunca daripada apa yang mereka alami dan saksikan dengan mata mereka.

Children need security and attention, because in many cases of child violence and mental problems, it originates from what they experience and witness in front of their eyes

Kekasaran apatah lagi penderaan pada kanak-kanak dan kaum wanita bukan sahaja merupakan jenayah sudut sosial dan perundangan,

Violence and moreover abuse towards children and women are not only considered crime in the eyes of society and law,

bahkan suatu penyelewengan sudut penterjemahan akhlak seorang muslim yang cinta pada Rasulnya.

More than that it is a misrepresentation of a muslim’s character who love the his Prophet s.a.w.

4 prinsip asas dalam Konvention Hak Kanak-Kanak Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu menyatakan bahawa ;

Kesemua itu sebenarnya adalah cerminan akhlak dan apa yang ditunjukkan oleh Rasulullah dalam hal kepada anak dan cucu beliau.

All those in reality is a reflection of morals portrayed by Rasulullah s.a.w. towards his children and grandchildren.

Kesantunan yang dipamerkan Baginda s.a.w. dan kualiti masa yang diberikan terhadap anak-anak kecil ini juga seharusnya menjadi teladan kepada kita.

The noble character showed by the Prophet s.a.w. and the quality time which he shared with these children should be a guidance to us.

Let us spend some time and give them our undivided attention as best as we can when we are with them.

Do not let our busy life or our modern technologies distract us from our priority to educate and to engage them.

Alat komunikasi moden iphone, ipad atau chat di alam siber boleh menjadi suatu bentuk komunikasi yang baik namun ia juga boleh mendatangkan fitnah dan konflik pada diri dan keluarga yang dibina dan disayangi.

Modern communication gadgets such as the iphone, ipad or chatting in the cyber world could be a good alternative to physical communication but it can also create fitnah and conflict in your life and your beloved family.
