Surgeon or Medical *$$icer in a recognised Hospital $or

a period o$ not less than nine months shall be

considered $or appointment, but shall not be eligible $orappointment to the service unless be$ore the date o$

such appointment, he has completed the remaining

period o$ service to ma:e up a total o$ t%elve months ,

or

?ndergone a course o$ postgraduate stud! in or out o$

(ndia $or a period o$ not less than nine months 8 or

*btained the iploma o$ the School o$ Tropical

Medicine and H!giene, 'alcutta, a$ter undergoing a

course o$ stud! in that school $or a period o$ not lessthan si= months8 or

.b/ served as emonstrator in a Medical 'ollege $or a

period o$ not less than t%elve months8 and

.iv/ (n the case o$ 'ategor! -, should have a iploma in
