The heart is also the seat of a person’s will. Our heart can be stubborn (2 Chronicles 36:13)desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9)or it can be broken and contrite (Psalm 51)

The choices we make and the things we do are often determined by the condition of our heart.

Lesson 2

Our heart is where decisions are often made. 1.Obedience or disobedience to God takes place here and the determination of our wills is set.

2. God’s grace can move upon our hearts and cause a stubborn disobedient heart to change (Ezekiel 36:24-28).

3. God alone can touch a person’s heart and change them (1 Samuel 10: 6, 10; 26).
