him to have a successful and happy marriage.

Steve’s disdain for work causes him to feel tired and moody at home. His marriage is in trouble…

Carl’s good performance at work gives him time and energy to enjoy time with friends and family.

Steve has neither the time nor the energy to enjoy time with friends and family
