SUMMARY2009 was declared by the UN to be the international year of astronomy 2009. The focuswas on enhancing the public’s engagement with and understanding of astronomy. TheInternational Astronomical Union (IAU) launched the year under the theme ‘The Universe,Yours to Discover’. By scientific exploration of the universe, the astronomers have discovered many celestialbodies in the outer space, which were hidden and unknown to mankind in the ancientperiods. The hell and paradise are two hidden or spiritual matters of the universe proposedby the prophets. For long time their existence in the universe was a religious belief. Now, bycomparative study of astronomical discoveries with the religious cosmology, the distantcelestial bodies the stars, galaxies, quasars, pulsars, and black holes all are identified asthe hells of religious cosmology. The location and physical characteristics of all the starsand galaxies are almost identical to those of the religious hells that have been described inthe Holy Scriptures. The religious hell is now visible in the universe by thousands oftelescopes from all around the world. Astronomers confirm the message of the prophetsthat the hells are awaiting in the universe for the punishment of unbelievers.

THE STAR=HELL THEORYA theory in science is a logical, systematic set of principles or explanation that has beenverified—has stood up against attempts to prove it false. For example, Darwin's Theory ofEvolution is a system of ideas that suggests humans and apes evolved from a commonancestor. Scientific evidence for evolution comes from many aspects of biology andincludes comparative anatomy and physiology, homologous and vestigial structures, fossils,and genetic mutations. Research in the field of paleontology, the study of fossils, supportsthe idea that all living organisms are related.During the voyage of the Beagle, Charles Darwin collected fossils in South America, andfound fragments of armor which he thought were like giant versions of the scales on themodern armadillos living nearby. On his return, the anatomist Richard Owen showed himthat the fragments were from gigantic extinct glyptodons, related to the armadillos. This wasone of the patterns of requirement that helped Darwin to develop his theory.Fossil discoveries in paleontology, advances in population genetics and a global network ofscientific research have provided further details into the mechanisms of evolution. Evolutionis the principal theory today that biologists use to understand life and is used in manydisciplines, including medicine, psychology, conservation biology, anthropology, forensics,agriculture and other socio­cultural applications.

The implication that all life on Earth has a common ancestor has met with objections fromsome religious groups who believe even today that the different types of life are due tospecial creation. Their objections are in contrast to the level of support for the theory ofevolution by more than 99 percent of those within the scientific community today. Thesereligious groups agree that plants and animals on earth including humans were originatedfrom inorganic matters or mixture of soil and water by a mechanism that had not beendescribed in the Holy Scriptures. The mechanism of creation of life from inorganic mattersis the theory of biological evolution that has been developed by the scientists today. God'swill and power over all things, is the driving force of evolution and natural selection.

The origin of species by means of undirected and blind process of natural selection is afairy tale and scientific delusion. The special creation theory and the theory of biologicalevolution have been improved and corrected each other that does not contradict the holyscriptures and modern science. The first pair of man and woman was created on the earthfrom inorganic matters (dust) through evolutionary mechanism and they were not thrownfrom the eternal paradise of outer space. After creation through evolutionary mechanismthey lived in a paradise on this earth (Garden of Eden) and through them God bestrewedthe earth with countless men and women.

Home to millions of species, including humans, earth is the only place in the universe wherelife is known to exist. The planet formed 4.54 billion years ago, and life appeared on itssurface within a billion years. Since then, earth’s biosphere has significantly altered theatmosphere and other abiotic conditions on the planet, enabling the proliferation of aerobicorganisms as well as the formation of the ozone layer which, together with earth’s magneticfield, blocks harmful radiation, permitting life on earth. Highly energetic chemistry isbelieved to have produced a self­replicating molecule around 4 billion years ago and half abillion years later the last common ancestor of all life existed. Appearance of the first self­replicating molecule on the earth has been indicated in the following verse of the HolyQur'an:

O mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord, Who created you from a single soul andfrom that soul He created its mate, and through them He bestrewed the earth withcountless men and women.—(Al­Qur’an, 4: 1).

“The Star=Hell Theory” is based on a finding of the astronomers in the outer space that theuniverse contains a large number of galaxies that spread through space as far as the mostpowerful telescope can penetrate. Astronomers estimate that there are at least 125 billionsgalaxies in the observable universe. The galaxy is a unit in the structure of the universe.Much as a star is a unit in the structure of galaxy. Most galaxies are 1000 to 100,000parsecs in diameter and are usually separated by distances on the order of millions ofparsecs or mega parsecs. One parsec is equal to 3.26 light years. The nearest star to theEarth, apart from the Sun, is Proxima Centauri, which is 39.9 trillion (1012) kilometers, or4.2 light­years away. Light from Proxima Centauri takes 4.2 years to reach Earth. Travelingat the orbital speed of the Space Shuttle (5 miles per second—almost 30,000 kilometersper hour), it would take about 150,000 years to get there.

“The Star=Hell Theory” is divided into two parts: Discovery of Hell in the Universe and theHell Sighting Effect on Current Civilization.

DISCOVERY OF HELL IN THE UNIVERSEIn the Holy Scriptures of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, it had been stated that at the dayof final judgment the earth would be changed to a big field known as the field ofresurrection, and it would be surrounded by the hells. A very long bridge will be built overthe hells extending from the earth to the paradise. After the judgment believers will passover the bridge easily and safely. The unbelievers will fall in to the hells. The Hindus andBuddhists compare the Hell to a river of fire — Vaitarani, which will have to pass to reachthe gardens of paradise.

In the 16th century, Italian astronomer Giordano Bruno proposed that the stars wereactually other suns like our own. In 1838, German astronomer Friedrich Bessel measuredthe parallax of 61 Cygni star as 0.314 arc seconds, which given the diameter of the earth’sorbit indicated that the star was about 9.8 light years away that had proved the stars to befar remote from the earth’s atmosphere and all were suns.

In the 20th century with the advent of improved technology, it was proven that other starswere similar to our own sun, and the sun was found to be part of a galaxy made up of morethan 10 billion stars. Astronomers estimate that there are at least 70 sextillion (7×1022)suns or stars in the observable universe. Stars are normally grouped into galaxies. A typicalgalaxy contains hundreds of billions of stars, and there are about 125 billion (1.25x1011)galaxies in the observable universe.

Most galaxies are 1000 to 100,000 parsecs in diameter and are usually separated bydistances on the order of millions of parsecs or mega parsecs. The majority of galaxies areorganized into a hierarchy of associations called clusters, which in turn can form largergroups called super clusters. These larger structures are generally arranged into sheetsand filaments, which surround immense voids in the universe.

The Jewish Rabbis teach that there is an upper and a lower paradise containingapartments for the residence and reward of righteous. They believe that there is an upperand a lower hell. In the hell there are seven divisions, in each division six thousand houseand in each house six thousand chests, and in each chest six thousand barrels of gall. Eachof the division of the hell to be as depth as one can walk in three hundred years.

Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) visited the hell and paradise during his famous night journey tothe outer space and meeting with Almighty God. It had been stated in the holy scriptures ofIslam that the sun was a hell and all the hells were situated in the outer space outside theEarth’s atmosphere. The Islamic scholars and scientists have been recognizing the Sun asa hell since the seventh century. Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said, “You pray at noon until itgets cooler. Because fire of hell is the source of intense heat at noon.” Prophet (pbuh) alsosaid, “Once the hell complained to his Creator, saying Oh my Lord! My one part hasengulfed another part. Thus Allah allowed the hell to take two breaths, one in the winter,and another in the summer. So the intensity of winter and summer which is now felt on theearth is due to the two breaths of the hell.”­ (Imam Malik, Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Nasai,Abu Daud, and Ibn Majah).The earth as a planet of solar system is surrounded by billions of stars and galaxies in theuniverse. The earth is moving round the sun and on its own axis. The intensity of heat onthe earth at day and night, and during summer and winter depends on various distances ofearth from the sun. In the seventh century, Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said that the sourceof intense heat at noon and summer on the earth was the hell indicating the sun a hell.

The Muslim scientists developed a diagram of the universe on the basis of comparativestudy of astronomy and Islamic cosmology, where the hells are placed around the earth,consisting of stars and constellations of ancient astronomy.

According to the religious cosmology, the earth is surrounded by the hells. Todayastronomers confirm that all the stars in the galaxies are suns and all the suns are locatedaround the earth. So the Sun and Sun like billions of stars in the galaxies, the quasars,pulsars, and black holes, which are situated around the earth in the regions of hells, all arehells.

In the following verses, the Holy Qur'an confirms this scientific discovery and predicts aspiritual resurrection all over the world:Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the difference of night and day,there are indeed signs for those who possess intelligence, those remember Allah whenstanding, sitting and lying down, and reflect on the creation of the space and the earth, andsays; Lord you have not created those celestial masses (stars, galaxies, quasars, pulsars,and black holes) in vain. Glory be to you! Save us from the penalty of Hell­fire, Lord thosewhom you will cast into Hell shall be put to eternal shame: non will help the evildoers. ­ [Al­Qur'an, 3:190­193].

The Religious Cosmology divides the universe into the two worlds, this world and the worldhereafter. This world is situated on our blue planet Earth, a very small part of the universe,separated from rest of the universe by the atmosphere. This world is also known asbiosphere. The biosphere is generally believed to have begun evolving about 3.5 billionyears ago. Earth is the only place in the universe where life is known to exist. Theatmosphere, which is also known as the sky of the earth, is decorated by the distantcelestial bodies the Sun, Moon, stars, and planets those are situated outside the earth.Everything beyond the Kármán line or outside the atmosphere is known as the outer spaceor world hereafter. that surrounded the earth during its early history could give rise to the first speck of life.

Life process comprises a series of chemical reaction using carbon based molecules bywhich matter is taken into a system. Organisms are composed of one or more cellscontaining an infinite array of organic and inorganic molecules. All information about ourtraits and biological activities are located in the Deoxyribonucleic Acid – DNA, in the form ofcodes or signals. Codes for reproduction and multiplication are contained in the DNAlocated in a central nucleus of cell. In unicellular organisms, all vital processes occur in asingle cell. As the evolution of multicellular organisms has progressed, various cell groupshave taken over particular functions.

DNA is a long polymer composed of four types of bases. The sequence of bases along aparticular DNA molecule specify the genetic information, in a manner similar to a sequenceof letters spelling out a sentence. Before a cell divides, the DNA is copied, so that each ofthe resulting two cells will inherit the DNA sequence. Portions of a DNA molecule thatspecify a single functional unit are called genes. Genes determine an individual's generalappearance and to some extent their behavior. If two organisms are closely related, theirDNA will be very similar. On the other hand, the more distantly related two organisms are,the more differences they will have. For example, brothers are closely related and havevery similar DNA, while cousins share a more distant relationship and have far moredifferences in their DNA. Similarities in DNA are used to determine the relationshipsbetween species in much the same manner as they are used to show relationshipsbetween individuals. For example, comparing chimpanzees with gorillas and humans showsthat there is as much as a 96 percent similarity between the DNA of humans andchimpanzees. Comparisons of DNA indicate that humans and chimpanzees are moreclosely related to each other than either species is to gorillas.

The molecular structure of DNA, the mater code or blueprint of life looks like a twistedladder, a double helix. The steps in the ladder are made up from the joining of various pairsof four molecules, namely, adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G), and cytosine (C). Eachstep of the ladder is always formed by pairing molecules like AT or TA, GC or CG. Theorder of AT, CG, GC, and TA varies from gene to gene ensuring hereditary traits beingpassed over to the offspring. The steps of the DNA molecules are the same in all livingthings. The differences among all living things results from the way the steps are arranged,as well as from the ratio of the number of AT (or TA) to GC (or CG). This order and ratiomakes all the differences between a flea and a dog, a rose and cactus, a man and amonkey.

The scientific study relating to the soul has involved investigating the soul as an object ofhuman belief, or as a concept that shapes cognition and an understanding of the world,rather than as an entity in and of itself. The phenotypic, genotypic, behavioral andemotional characteristics or states of a human can be identified as bearing physio­chemicalcause. Neurochemicals (most famously endorphins) are responsible for what can bedescribed as feelings of well being, love and pain. Similarly, memory can be seen as anatomic reconstruction of an image in the brain at the expense of chemical energy intakenby food. Wilson suggested that biologists need to investigate how human genes predisposepeople to believe in a soul.

The complex molecular structure of DNA puts an overwhelming problem for its beginning bychance. For example, the DNA of virus contains about two hundred thousand steps and aDNA molecule within a human chromosome is made of at least six billion steps (base pairs).If a step is misplaced a mutation occurs. Thus from various combinations of the steps onlyone combination has been suitable for human being. According to the Holy Qur’an the soul(master code, blueprint of life, the DNA – the sequence of base pairs in DNA) is a commandfrom God:

They put questions to you concerning the spirit. Say the spirit is at my Lord’s command...and of knowledge only a meager part has been imparted to you. ­ (Al­Qur’an, 17:85).

The latest study on the living cell is suggesting us existence of an invisible soul ­ the mastercode or blueprint of life ­ the DNA, a molecule that encodes genetic information. Thesequence of base pairs in DNA is an eternal command from God which is different fordifferent individuals and different species of living organisms. This eternal command fromGod for sequence of base pairing in DNA of living organisms was described in the Holy

Scriptures as eternal soul. The soul or DNA sequences changed through mutations,producing new species and generations.

During nuclear division the two strands of DNA molecule separate and each strand acts asa templete and organises the formation of a new complementary strand from a pool ofnucleotides as a result of specific base pairing. In this way when the cells are divide, thegenetic information are transmitted unchanged to each daughter cell.

He is the One who created you from clay, then predetermined your life span, a life spanthat is known only to Him. Yet, you continue to doubt. —( Al­Qur’an, 6: 2).

The Christian view of the soul is based upon the teaching of both the Old Testament andNew Testament. The Old Testament contains the statements “Then shall the dust return tothe earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it”­ (Ecclesiastes 12:7)and “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrilsthe breath of life; and man became a living soul.”­ (Genesis 2:7).

Total DNA of a cell is made up of six billion base pairs, which is about 1.5­2.0 m long inuncoiled straight form. This primary framework and blueprint of life or the sequence of basepairs in DNA is an eternal command from God. Without a command for design of base pairsin DNA, life can not originate from inorganic matters. This eternal command from God isindependent of the matters and will persist with its all attributes and activities after death ofthe body on the earth.

All the divine religions teach us continued existence of the soul and a transformed physicalexistence after death. There will be a day of judgment when all humans will be dividedbetween the eternal destinations of Hell and Paradise. The resurrection that will take placeon the Last Day is physical, and is explained by suggesting that God will re­create mankind.On the last day, resurrected humans will be judged by God according to their deeds. One’seternal destination depends on balance of good to bad deeds in life. They are eithergranted admission to Paradise, where they will enjoy spiritual and physical pleasuresforever, or condemned to Hell to suffer spiritual and physical torment for eternity.

The Super Natural Theory of DiseaseFor long time scientists were groping in darkness about the causation of disease. Severaltheories were advanced from time to time to explain disease causation, such as thesupernatural theory of disease, the theory of humors by Greeks and Indians, the theory ofcontagion, the theory of spontaneous generation, the miasmatic theory, which attributeddisease to noxious air and vapors. After 1900, the pattern of disease began to change. With the control ofacute infectious diseases, the modern diseases such as cancers, diabetes, cardiovasculardiseases, mental illness, and accident came into prominence and have become the leadingcauses of death. These diseases could not be explained by the germ theory of disease andrealization began that there are other factors in the causation of disease, namelysocial,environmental, economical, genetic, and psychological factors which are equallyimportant. Most of these factors are linked to human life style and behaviours.

Supernatural theory of disease is the oldest theory of disease causation. The sword of DamoclesThere once was a king named Dionysius who ruled in Syracuse, the richest city in Sicily. Hewas so unjust and cruel that he won himself the name of tyrant. He knew that almosteverybody hated him, and so he was always in dread lest some one should take his life.But he was very rich, and he lived in a fine palace where there were many beautiful andcostly things, and he was waited upon by a host of servants who were always ready to dohis bidding. One day a friend of his, whose name was Damocles, said to him ­ “How happyyou must be! You have here everything that any man could wish.”“Perhaps you would like to trade places with me,” said the tyrant.“No, not that, O king!” said Damocles; “but I think that, if I could only have your riches andyour pleasures for one day, I should not want any greater happiness.”“Very well,” said the tyrant. “You shall have them.”And so, the next day, Damocles was led into the palace, and all the servants were bidden totreat him as their master. He sat down at a table in the banquet hall, and rich foods wereplaced before him. Nothing was wanting that could give him pleasure. There were costlywines, and beautiful flowers, and rare perfumes, and delightful music. He rested among softcushions, and felt that he was the happiest man in the world.Then he chanced to raise his eyes toward the ceiling. What was it that was dangling abovehim, with its point almost touching his head? It was a sharp sword, and it was hung by onlysingle horsehair. What if the hair should break? There was danger every moment that itwould do so.The smile faded from the lips of Damocles. His face became very pale. His hands trembled.He wanted no more food; he could drink no more wine; he took no more delight in themusic. He longed to be out of the palace, and away, he cared not where. “What is thematter?” said the tyrant.“That sword! That sword!” cried Damocles. He was so badly frightened that he dared notmove.“Yes,” said Dionysius, “I know there is a sword above your head, and that it may fall at anymoment. But why should that trouble you? I have a sword over my head all the time andthere is always the chance someone or something may cut the slim thread.”“Let me go,” said Damocles. “I now see that I was mistaken, and that the rich and tyrant arenot so happy as they seem. Please take your palace, and let me go back to my own housefor my pious life.” And as long as he lived, Damocles never again wanted to change places,even for a moment, with the king.

The world of stars and galaxies, the Hell, which is now hanging around the earth like theSword of Damocles, will activate mankind for a pious life ­ normal religious life style andbehaviour,to remain safe from the hell fire and enter into the eternal paradise that mightrestore peace, justice and discipline all over the world.

Questionnaire ResultsOn the occasion of International Year of Astronomy 2009, a questionnaire was designed toevaluate people’s response on “Astronomical Discovery of Hell in the Universe and HellObservation Effect on Modern Civilization”. The questionnaire was distributed to 2500participants. The participants were scientists, religious specialists, astronomers, politicians,civic leaders, and educated peoples of all walks of life. 2050 participants responded to thequestionnaire. Their answers were collected, analyzed and examined by a committee ofexperts. The questions presented to the participants on the occasion of International Year

Answers to the question No.1­­15The questions No. 1—15 were open ended, blank spaces were provided for writinganswers according to guidelines supplied with the questionnaire. Most of the participantsanswer these questions according to guidelines, which were prepared on the basis of“Astronomy” and “Religious Cosmology”.Answers to the question No.16­­17In the answer of these questions, most of the participants, more than 90 per cent out of2050 agreed that the celestial bodies the stars, galaxies, black holes, pulsars, and quasarsall are made of nuclear fire, all are situated in the region of hells, and all are hells ofreligious cosmology described in the Holy Scriptures.Answers to the question No.18In the answer of this question, most of the participants, more than 90 per cent out of 2050agreed that the Hell could be observed from the Earth with telescopes and otherastronomical tools, like observation of fetus by sonologist in the uterus of pregnant womenimaging with ultrasonogram.Answers to the question No.19In this closed ended question all possible answers were listed. Most of the participants,more than 90 per cent out of 2050 responded as follows:(a) There will be a spiritual resurrection all over the world.(b) Mankind will refrain from all kinds of abnormal activities those are punishable by hell fire.(c) Evil will be reduced dramatically on the Earth.(d) Mankind will return to a normal life style and behaviour.(e) The whole world will be converted to a pious, happier, healthier, and prosperous world.Answers to the question No.20In the answer of this question, most of the participants, more than 90 per cent out of 2050responded as follows:(a) Astronomers do not know the ultimate fate of the Universe.(b) The universe is made up of Hell, Paradise and the Earth. After final judgment on theEarth mankind will be sent to their eternal destination ­ Hell or Paradise.(c) The Hell already has been discovered by the astronomers consisting of stars, galaxies,black holes, pulsars, and quasars.(d) The Paradise is situated in the deeper and distant regions of the universe.(e) Discovery of Hell strongly suggests the existence of eternal Paradise.

THE STAR=HELL THEORY: FACT OR THEORY?A hypothesis is a proposed explanation for a phenomenon. For a hypothesis to be putforward as a scientific hypothesis, the scientific method requires that one can test it. Once ahypothesis has survived testing, it may become adopted into the framework of a scientifictheory. In modern science, a scientific theory is a tested and expanded hypothesis thatexplains many experiments and fits ideas together in a framework. out.An example of a scientific theory that underwent many changes is the germ theory ofdisease. In ancient times, people believed that diseases were caused by the gods, or bycurses, or by improper behavior. Germs were unknown, because germs are too small tosee. With the invention of the microscope, germs were discovered, and the germ theory ofdisease was proposed. However, the germ theory of disease had to be modified, becausesome diseases are not caused by germs. The flu and scurvy are examples of diseases thatare not caused by germs, but viruses or poor nutrition. Scientists modified the germ theoryof disease, so that today we would state that theory as "Some diseases are caused bygerms."To be a scientific theory, a theory must be tested a large number of times, by manydifferent scientists in many different places, and must pass the test every time. It must bestated exactly, often using mathematics. And it must fit in with all of the other scientifictheories. Science has many branches. Physics, chemistry, biology, geology, and astronomyare some of the major branches of science. A scientific theory in one branch of sciencemust hold true in all of the other branches of science. For example, the atomic theory ofmatter, that all matter is made up of atoms, was discovered using physics, but thechemicals used in chemistry, the living tissue used in biology, the rocks studied in geology,and the planets studied in astronomy are all made up of atoms. The atomic theory of matterholds in every area of science.Sometimes scientists come up with a theory that is wrong. The discovery of an exception toa scientific theory is a major event, and a scientist can become famous by discovering anexception to a rule. Einstein became famous for his theory of relativity, which found anexception to Isaac Newton's laws of motion. Newton's theory, which had been accepted forhundreds of years, had to be changed, and has been changed.Here is a list of some of the major theories of modern science. These theories have beentested thousands of times, and no exception has been found.

1. The atomic theory of matter: all matter is made up of atoms.2. The law of conservation of mass and energy: in chemical and physical reactions,

mass and energy stay the same, in atomic reactions, mass is changed to energy orenergy to mass according to the formula E=mc2.

3. The cell theory of living things: all living things are made up of cells.4. The theory of evolution: all life on earth evolved from simple forms.5. The tectonic theory of geology: the surface of the earth is composed of tectonic

plates, which move slowly.6. The galactic theory of astronomy: planets orbit stars, stars cluster in galaxies.7. The periodic table of elements: atoms are distinguished by their atomic number and

atomic weight, and can be arranged in a table which illustrates their properties.8. The theory of relativity: scientific laws hold in different frames of reference.9. Quantum theory: the smallest amount of energy is a ‘quantum unit’, and all energy

comes in multiples of this amount.

The galactic theory of astronomy ­ planets orbit stars, stars cluster in galaxies, andexistence of billions of galaxies in the universe has been accepted by the scientists, testedthousands of times, and no exception has been found. So it is not only a theory, but a fact.In the ancient periods, thousands of prophets all over the world told their nations about theexistence of hell and paradise in the universe. For long time in the scientific point of view, itwas a religious belief proposed by the prophets. By scientific exploration of the universe,the existence of religious hell now has been discovered in the universe that makes thereligious belief a scientific fact. The religious hells are now visible in the universe bythousands of telescopes from all around the world. The sun and sun like billions of stars inthe galaxies, the quasars, pulsars, and black holes, all are identified as the hells of religiouscosmology. Their location in the universe and physical characteristics all are almostidentical to those of the hells that have been described in the Holy Scriptures. So theStar=Hell theory is not only a scientific theory, also a fact. Discovery of Hell in the universeis suggesting us existence of eternal Paradise in the distant and deeper regions of theuniverse that has been described in the Holy Scriptures.

CONCLUSION:Space missions are designed to explore the unknown and learn more about the universearound us. Whether it’s a manned space mission to the moon, a robot explorer in the solarsystem or a probe to the galaxy beyond. The Mi'raj is the space mission of ProphetMuhammad (pbuh) during a single night around the year 621. Prophet Muhammad travelson the steed Buraq to the Masjid Al­Aqsa, in Jerusalem, where he leads other prophets in

prayer. He then ascends to the space where he meets distinguished prophets, visits thehells and heavens, speaks to God, who gives Prophet Muhammad instructions to take backto the faithful regarding the details of prayer. The Holy Qur’an describes this mission as a space flight to explore the unknown. Thisspace mission is associated with the Lailat al­Miraj, as one of the most significant events inthe Islamic calendar.

“Most glorified is the One (Allah) who summoned His servant (Muhammad) during thenight, from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose surroundings we haveblessed, in order to show him some of our signs. He is the Hearer, the Seer.” – (Al­Qur’an,17: 1).

The Proxima Centauri is the nearest star ­ hell to the Earth, apart from the Sun. Light fromProxima Centauri takes 4.2 years to reach Earth. Traveling of 4.2 light years at the orbitalspeed of the Space Shuttle (5 miles per second—almost 30,000 kilometers per hour), willrequire about 150,000 years. It will take Voyager 1 over 74,000 years to reach thisdistance. Vehicle designs using other techniques, such as nuclear pulse propulsion arelikely to be able to reach the nearest star significantly faster. But it will be completelyimpossible for mankind to pay the scientists the amount to construct such a space shuttlethat may travel 15 billions light years of way over the galaxies of hells to reach the galaxiesof heavens in the deeper and distant regions of the universe.

Since the seventh century,

the Ulama and Islamic scholars all over the world have been recognizing the Sun as a hell . Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “You pray at

noon until it gets cooler. Because fire of hell is the source of intense heat at noon.” Prophet (pbuh) also said, “Once the hell complained to

his Creator, saying Oh my Lord! My one part has engulfed another part. Thus Allah allowed the hell to take two breaths, one in the winter,

and another in the summer. So the intensity of winter and summer which is now felt in the earth is due to the two breaths of the hell.”­ (Imam

Malik, Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Nasai, Abu Daud, and Ibn Majah).

Astronomers estimate that there are at least 70 sextillion (7×1022) suns or stars in the observable universe. Stars are normally grouped into

galaxies. A typical galaxy contains hundreds of billions of stars, and there are about 125 billion (1.25x1011) galaxies in the observable

universe.

Islamic cosmology, the earth is surrounded by the hells. Today astronomers confirm that all the stars in the galaxies are suns and all the

suns are located around the earth. So the Sun and Sun like billions of stars in the galaxies, the quasars, pulsars, and black holes, which

are situated around the earth in the regions of hells, all are hells. In the Holy Scriptures of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, it had been

stated that at the day of final judgment the earth would be changed to a big field known as the field of resurrection, and it would be

surrounded by the hells. A very long bridge will be built over the hells extending from the earth to the paradise. After the judgment believers

will pass over the bridge easily and safely. The unbelievers will fall in to the hells. The Hindus and Buddhists compare the Hell to a river of

fire — Vaitarani, which will have to pass to reach the gardens of paradise. The Jewish Rabbis teach that there is an upper and a lower

paradise containing apartments for the residence and reward of righteous. They believe that there is an upper and a lower hell. In the hell

there are seven divisions, in each division six thousand house and in each house six thousand chests, and in each chest six thousand

barrels of gall. Each of the division of the hell to be as depth as one can walk in three hundred years.
