Problems, Solutions and Top Tips in Restorative Dentistry Leeds 2012
Introduction and Welcome
Dear Colleague,
This year the Specialist Registrars in Restorative Dentistry Group (SRRDG) and the Association of Consultants in Restorative Dentistry (ACSRD) Conference will take place in Leeds, at the Hilton Hotel on the 27
th-28
th
September.
The theme of the conference is “Problems, Solutions and Top Tips in Restorative Dentistry”.
We have prepared a lecture programme which includes aspects of clinical dentistry, critical appraisal and management with the aim being that speakers draw from their experience providing a personal insight into their field.
As usual, the conference spans 2 days, with separate meetings for the two societies on Thursday 27th
September, and a joint meeting on the Friday 28
th September. This year we will also be staging a poster display
to be judged on the Friday.
The booking fee includes the full two-day programme, accommodation and attendance at the conference dinner on Thursday 27
th September. In addition on Wednesday 26
thSeptember, there will be a golf tournament
which will be played at Headingley Golf Course. This will be followed by an informal dinner at Akbar’s, a well-established Leeds curry house.
All of these events are only possible through the generous support of our sponsors and we would like to thank them for helping to make this event a success.
We hope that this year’s conference will once again attract clinicians at all levels within our discipline and we welcome the attendance of those working in both restorative and mono-specialist posts.
The provisional programme and delegate packages available are shown below. Places are limited and we would encourage you to book early. Membership details for either society are available on the website, http://www.restdent.org.uk/index.html
We look forward to seeing you in Leeds.
Best wishes,
Kathryn Durey SRRDG 2012 Conference Organiser Leeds Dental Institute Clarendon Way Leeds LS2 9LU
