port KLFS milk program. These
funds will be used to purchase
proper shelving in our cool room for
the storage of bagged milk.

KLFS & SCSF
Lindsay KIA held a one day food/fundraiser on
August 21st and Adam Sweeney with his son
Owen delivered the donations plus a cheque for
$462. At this time of the year, these contributions
are in great need and much appreciated.
In spite of ques-
tionable weather, our volunteers
gathered with smiles and thor-
oughly enjoyed the KLFS ‘Family’
BBQ. Many ooh’s and aah’s compli-
mented the dona-
tion of meats from Lindsay’s Giant
Tiger.
With some great eats
to energize us, com-petition heated up.
Our teams flexed their muscles in the
Bean Bag Toss. Dave
and Sinnie Cook reigned supreme as
the champs!

A one day drive was held at Dollarama and 451 non-perishable items and $372.76 was collected!
Soroptomists International Kawartha Lakes collected 964 travel size personal care items.
Little Britain Meat Packers hosted a food drive/BBQ and donated 88 non-perishable units and $152.
The 50th anniversary celebration of Lenore Frost brought in 155 non-perishable items.
