The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

It’s Trinity Sunday. God is revealed as Father and Son and Holy Spirit – all three. God has found us, chosen us, and adopted us to be his own, part of his family. We are not slaves, he is not our master. We call him Father, Abba, Daddy. We hear the voice of God speaking to us directly and intimately, including us as his children, as his family. We are all part of the family. God is our Father. He chose us and adopted us. Jesus is our brother. This weekend here in America we are also celebrating Memorial Day. In the Gospel Jesus tells the disciples to go spread the news about himself, about the Trinity, about the family of God. That’s still the story. This weekend we remember our family. And give thanks. Please join us for Memorial Day Masses at Riverside Cemetery or at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Haverhill.

Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, (bow) and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. SCHOOL SISTERS OF ST. FRANCIS The School Sisters of St. Francis will visit us on June 12-13. SSSF are an international community of sisters who touch and change the lives of millions of people around the world through a myriad of ministries. Founded in 1874, their missions continue to evolve to serve the needs of our times and vary based on the needs of people who live in poverty and are marginalized by society. These ministries stretch across the globe from the United States to Latin America, North India and South India, and Tanzania. The legacy of the School Sisters of St. Francis is one of empowerment and hope.

We invite you to participate in the ministry of the School Sisters of St. Francis through your support for their missions. They are dedicated to bringing the Reign of God to those who are marginalized all over the world. Your prayers and contributions are greatly appreciated.

ASOCIADA DE LAS HERMANAS ESCOLARES DE SAN FRANCISCO Las Hermanas Escolares de San Francisco nos visitarán el 12 y 13 de junio y son una comunidad

internacional de Hermanas que transforman y cambian la vida de millones de personas en todo el mundo a través de una multitud de ministerios. Fundadas en 1874, sus misiones continúan evolucionando para servir las necesidades de nuestros tiempos, que varían en función de las necesidades de las personas que viven en la pobreza y son marginadas por la sociedad. Estos ministerios se extienden por todo el mundo desde los Estados Unidos hasta América Latina, del norte al sur de la India y Tanzania. El legado de las Hermanas Escolares de San Francisco es de empoderamiento y esperanza.

Los invitamos a participar en el ministerio de las Hermanas Escolares de San Francisco apoyando sus misiones. Ellas están dedicadas a llevar el Reino de Dios a aquellos que viven marginados en todo el mundo. Sus oraciones y contribuciones son muy apreciadas. INVITACIÓN A LA NOCHE DE JÓVENES ¡Todos los estudiantes que estarán en 7° grado el próximo otoño están invitados a unirse a nosotros para las noches de jóvenes! Nos reunimos todos los miércoles por la noche de 6 a 7:30 PM. En el campus de St. Henry. ¡Jugamos, comemos, conocemos a nuevos amigos y aprendemos sobre nuestra fe! Nos vemos allí y no se preocupe si falta unas semanas.
