LIFE GROUP LEADERS NEEDED!

Life Groups are small groups of people (12 at the most) who meet together on a weekly or biweekly basis throughout the year. While these groups may do Bible studies, read books, and discuss their faith, the primary purpose of the group is relational…to “do life” together and have those around you who can support, encourage,

and pray for you.

Leaders are needed for our Fall launch of Life Groups. Contact Rev. JoAn Kinrade ([email protected]) if you are feeling God’s call to be a part of

this transforming ministry.

CURRENT SERIES

This week, we’ll be continuing our series entitled “From Here to There: Becoming the Person You Were Created to Be”. During this series, we’ve been exploring the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and

self-control. This week, we’ll be exploring GOODNESS.

If you ever miss a Sunday, want to recap, or share this series with friends and/or family, visit our Current Series page by visiting the website and clicking the banner, or “Current Series” at the bottom of the page. There you can view past services (both Traditional and Contemporary) and download handouts from that morning.

STOP HUNGER NOW’S VISION: A world without hunger. STOP HUNGER NOW’S MISSION: To end hunger in our lifetime by providing food

and life-saving aid to the world's most vulnerable and by creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources. On Friday, October 3rd we will be packaging 10,000 meals to help Stop Hunger Now move closer to a world without hunger. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. – sharp – we need a minimum of 50 volunteers to help us package meals in the Parish Hall in less than an hour and a half (volunteers at our last event packaged 10,018 meals in 57 minutes!) ALL ages are invited to participate. This is a great family oriented service project sponsored by our Missions committee. Please sign up on the connection card in Sunday’s bulletin or by calling the church office so we know how many volunteers we will have. We also need 4-5 people to help unload the truck and set up for the event at 5:00 p.m. AND a few people to bring some desserts to go with the pizza we will have once the 10,000 meals are packaged and ready to go. If you can help setup and/or bring a dessert, please call Kathy Wilson 404-790-4831.

We can make a difference in the lives of those who know hunger.

do…or wonder what areas of ministry you might be interested in? This ministry fair will answer all your questions!
