I knew I always wanted to put this great American humorist into one of my books. But where would he fit? Well, I eventually learned that Twain had a long and enduring friendship with a certain inventor and genius, Nicola Tesla. The two would pal around, with Twain even assisting with a few of Tesla’s experiments, to sometimes humorous ends. Yet, I knew a story featuring this duo—a man of words and a man of science—would need an appropriately HUGE story, one of Biblical proportions. And then I found one—straight out of the Old Testament, from the Book of Exodus, concerning Moses and the ten plagues. What I discovered is based on true history and startling science.
