CMC Bulletin Board CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COMMITTEE – The CE Committee will meet today after worship in the Church Office. MARVELOUS MORAVIANS – The Marvelous Moravians will be going to Becky and Ronnie Lanier’s home for lunch on Tuesday, October 16. They will depart the Fellowship Building parking lot at 11:30 AM and if enough people sign up, the church van will be taken. A sign up sheet has been posted on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board. WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP YARD SALE (October 27) – The Women’s Fellowship will be accepting donations for the Fall Yard Sale on the following dates in October from 1-3 PM in the Fellowship Building Basement manned by Becky Lanier and her helpers: Tuesday, October 9 Thursday, October 11 Tuesday, October 16 Thursday, October 18 Tuesday, October 23 Thursday, October 25 We are NOT accepting CLOTHES, SHOES, APPLIANCES, TV’S OR COMPUTERS OR PRINTERS. HOUSE OF WORSHIP SAFETY SEMINAR – The Southern Province PEC and Home Moravian Church are sponsoring a “House of Worship Safety Seminar” on Saturday, October 27, from 10 AM until 2:30 PM in the Home Moravian Church Sanctuary. This seminar is open to all church members and no registration is required. There will be a Picnic Potluck Lunch at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring cold lunch items such as sandwiches, salads, chips and desserts. TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY - The Parables of Jesus -- Join Pastor Marcus during the month of October and November as he presents a weekday Bible Study entitled the Parables of Jesus. The parables we will be studying were delivered by Jesus in Galilee, the region where he grew up. During our time together, we will look at these parables that Jesus delivered during his last journey to Jerusalem and the cross. We will gather at 10 AM for the study that should last around 45 minutes. Meeting location will be determined by the amount of participants.
