In spite of the weather, there were more en- tries than last year. The theme, "Patriotic Day", was carried out effectively by the various participants In the par- ade which provided a colorful spectacle on the lake. "The South Shore Ferry" was awarded the first prize of a zilt certificate from William Ro- gers Hardware. Other winners were: (2) Van Leeuwen - gift from Mombers Drugs; (3) Orllkowskl - boat paint from North Kent Glass and Paint (4) Clarke's Neptuna - polish from Noller's station; (5) Eastslde Happy Gang - case of pop from Emmons Mar- WHAT? ket and boat paint from Waldeck Lumber; (6) Craig Couturier - thermos jug from Plntler Hardware; (7) Mike Stewart - gallon boat motor oil from Marathon Service; (8) G. Shouse - pie of choice from C & B Restaurant. A "bang-up" display of fire- works concluded the evening's activities. edged with lace and fas tened at the back with a Dior bow. Her veil of br ida l Illusion was s e -cu red at the crown with a head-p iece of p e a r l s and sequins .

The t r ip Is being conducted by Rev. and Mrs . J a m e s Hudson Tay lo r . He Is the grandson of f amed Rev. J a m e s Hudson Taylor who was the founder of the
