HOW DO WE KNOW THIS? ^ AS YOU READ YOUR NEWSPAPER, i r S SO EASY
TO BELIEVE WE MUST LIVE IN A NATION OF
HOODLUMS AND "HIPPIES**. N E W S P A P E R S OR
NOT . . . WE ALL KNOW THE GREAT MAJORITY
OF P E O P L E STILL ARE GOOD CITIZENS WHO CARE.
T H E S E FOR E X A M P L E S :
*
*
Thousands of hard-working, dedicated teachers who stay a f t e r school to help s t ra ighten out the twisted thinking of the boys and girls.
Neighbors who donate weekends to rebuild a widow's cottage blown down by s to rm; a small town church destroyed by f i re ; or help the i r neighbor to raise a new b a m .
# Many nurses and young interns who don't quit a t the end of the " sh i f t " , but go back to the bedside of a f r ightened child or a desperately lonely woman.
• The many parents who deny themselves many things in order t ha t thei r children may have the educational advantages they were never privileged to en joy; the many adult sons and daugh-te rs t ha t have cared for their paren ts in their old age.
The under-paid ministers who give cheer to the sick and troubled; Those young men in uniform offer ing their fu tu re s and some-times their lives for their country.
A young man who risks his security and savings, granted for profi t yes, but with the desire to do something worthwhile in th is country of his.
JUST A F E W OF THE ACTS OF OUR GOOD
CITIZENS WHO CARE . . . BUT SELDOM
MAKE THE NEWSPAPERS.
HOW DO WE KNOW ALL THIS? Possibly because money (or the lack of i t ) plays a par t . . . and you know banks deal in money and people. For over 70 years SPARTA STATE has helped a great many people with thei r f inan-cial problems . . . still doing it . . . possibly we can help you!
