Backpack Blessing Calling all students, teachers, administrators, and anyone who works in the school system! We want to start the school year off right with a special blessing from our congregation. Students, bring your backpacks and teachers, bring your work bags for this special blessing next Sunday, August 13 in all three worship services! We will be saying a prayer for you, so that you feel God’s love surrounding you as you begin this new school year.

What If? Conferences Your journey to a focused life will start this year at First United Methodist through What If Conferences. Join us as we journey the first Wednesdays toward abundant Kingdom living. One night each month will be focused on one topic to refocus your life towards God. WAK & CLUB 45 It’s that time again! WAK & CLUB 45 are our Wednesday after school programs for 1st - 5th graders that runs during the school year from September 6 through April on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. Operation Christmas Child In the month of August, we are collecting school supplies for Operation Christmas Child! Please remember these school supplies must be able to fit into a shoebox. Items such as pens, pencils, erasers, very small notebooks, colored pencils, crayons, rulers, glue, etc. will all fit.
